Wow, I’m a big fan of Josh’s writing, but I haven’t read these two series yet. Besides just finishing Fair Play, I’ve enjoyed other stories by him. His writing is so down to earth and realistic in his characters. Also, his stories have a wonderful atmosphere to their setting, e.g. from deep south Georgia to New England etc.

I love Josh Lanyon’s books! I think my first read was Lone Star, one of his short stories, and I absolutely loved the characters. Many of his other books I have read contain more drama and mystery, which he does so well. The Holmes and Moriarity stories also contain some humor as well, which I particularly like. I appreciate the fact that when he writes something in a different point in history he stays true to the time, such as This Rough Magic and The Dark Farewell. I almost felt like I was there. I would love to read the Adrien English books, as I have read some great reviews for them.

I think i’m one of the few people who haven’t read anything by Josh Lanyon yet. So this may be a great way to start .I love books with a mysterie/suspence theme and it looks like both series have that. Thank you for this giveaway.

I’ve only had the pleasure to read a couple of Josh’s works, not as many as I’d like. I enjoy his writing style. I’d love to wing a series. Thanks for a chance in the giveaway.

Just read Wizard’s Moon, loved it. But then I love all of Josh’s books. Holmes and Moriarity books are fantastic, but I haven’t read the Adrien English yet.

I have both of these series on ebook and audio, so you can count me out on the prize. I love the mysteries that take place in each book, and the conflicted attraction the mc’s have for each other. It’s never easy for them, but as the reader sticks it through the series, just like the mc’s.
a happy ending will be had.

Woo hoo! I own an original set of the Adrien English series in paperback. (Well read little buggers!) To have a set of the updated digital books would be the icing on my always growing collection of Lanyon books. Of course, Kit and JX are every bit as welcome! Thanks for the Christmas codas too. Visiting with Adrien and Jake always brings a smile to my face and a warm glow somewhere near my reputedly non-existant heart. 🙂

I know very little about Josh Lanyon except he’s one of the most popular writers in M/M fiction. Surprisingly I have yet to read a book written by him, so I’d love to read win this giveaway 🙂

I had heard so much about Josh Lanyon I went and bought the first in the Dangerous Ground series. I fell in love with the characters Will and Taylor. I couldn’t wait until the next, then the next were written. Love the way the characters interact and their chemistry. I also love that there is mystery as the plot/storyline. Each book I read kept me so engaged, I couldn’t put them down. I would love to have the Holmes and Moriarity series. A lot of my facebook friends highly recommend them.

I think I’ve read everything by Josh Lanyon. I’ve read each of these books individually, as they were being released. What a wonderful prize to get these
sets, in full, all at once. I absolutely adore Adrien ( and I’ve always loved Jake too, even when others didn’t “get” him). I also adore Perry in The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks, a great standalone, but I’d love to see a sequel to this one too. Josh was one of the first m/m writers I read, and he’s the best. 🙂

I really enjoy Josh Lanyon’s novels. His writing is straight-forward, yet nuanced and he knows how to present a mystery as well as complex characters. My favorites of his are Fair Game and Fair Play.

    Thanks!

I’ve read and loved the Adrien English mysteries. It was great to enjoy the mysteries as much as Adrien’s relationships. Just really engaging writing. I haven’t started on the Holmes and Moriarty series yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

I’m yet another huge Josh Fan so Not in the draw as I have, I believe, all his books to date. I concur with everything that has been said only adding if you haven’t read Josh’s standalone books Parting Glass, The Darkling Thrush, A Vintage Affair, Stranger on the Shore ( all different – all excellently executed) or his I Spy series, do so very soon. You are in for a truly memorable read.

I’m almost envious of the people who have yet to discover Josh’s work, its all wonderful. His use of language is amazing, he can say so much with very few words. Every character he writes is real and their actions and emotions are real, not over blown like some.

From the stories I have read so far, I think that Josh writes well plotted mystery stories, with a complementary romance together with a nice bit of conflict and often stubborn sexy men who have to work hard to finally become partners. The stories sweep the reader along effortlessly, then you get to a climax and it ends, noooooooo!

I have enjoyed the books I have collected so far, but I truly appreciate the chance to win either the Adrien English or the Holmes and Moriarity novels, as I have not had a chance to read them yet and know they are thought very highly of 🙂
