I love the Hat Trick series so far (I am missing Hat Trick 2, I think). I like Isa K’s HOW TO QUIT PLAYING HOCKEY and Heidi Belleau’s STRAIGHT SHOOTER a lot, too…
I don’t think i have one favorite sport theme book, there are so many great ones and it all depends on my mood at the moment of reading. But i really liked Double Full by Kindle Alexander, Tigers and Devils by Sean Kennedy, Aquamarine by Sara Bell, Grand Slam by JT Cheyanne .
I loved Rivals by Jeff Adams and i would like to have a sequel so we get to spend more time with Alex and Mitch.(hint, hint LOL)
I have The Hat trick serie on my wishlist so thank you for this giveaway 🙂
Thanks for the comment about “Rivals.” It’s possible that some day Alex and Mitchell will get another installment. Neither one of them has piped up with an idea yet 🙂
I’m going to have to say football or hockey since those are the types of book themes I’ve read a lot of. Really I like any types of sports.
Just read Hat Trick last week, thought it was great!
Other sporty books : Tigers and Devils books, Training Season
Bullheaded by Catt Ford, with the sport of bull riding which I knew nothing about until this book.
The Locker Room, Tigers & Devils, Caught Running and The Last Day of Summer are some of my favorite sports-themed books. Hat Trick sounds great & is on my TBR list – would love to win the series.
Thanks!
My favorite so far is “Training Season” by Leta Blake. It’s on ice skating. I think I already have one of the Hat Trick books. But wouldn’t mind completing the set 🙂
A favourite sports theme…hmmm, that would be football, no doubts. Though I know nothing about this ballgame and it isn’t that popular here in Germany 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway!!
I’m a fan of football, or soccer! I don’t knowany books based around the UK football game, but I really enjoyed Tumble Turn by Charlie Cochrane which is about swimming and Slow Bloom by Anah Crow and ??? also loosely based on swimming.
I liked Outing the Quarterback.
Hockey, hockey, hockey….um, my son played hockey. But truly, any book with sports in it would be great with me. I love all sports.
Tigers and Devils a looong time ago (loved it) and more recently Outing The Quarterback.
Love this question! It’s definitely a tie. I love The Locker Room by Amy Lane for it’s beautiful story, but it’s on the angsty side (for me). However, I still re-read parts of it when I’m in a particular mood. My other favorite would be Caught Running by Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux. I have re-read this from start to finish multiple times.
I really liked Double Full by Kindle Alexander, Thanks for this chance to read a new to me author.
Caught Running and more recently, Winging It, which is hockey. YUM!
I liked Tigers and Devils by Sean Kennedy.
I really liked Caught Running.
Tigers and Devils by Sean Kennedy, love that book like crazy!
I enyoyed a lot jock dorm series
sounds like a great series
I really enjoyed Outing the Quarterback.
I really enjoy Jeff’s books so I would also go with hockey!
I liked the Jock Dorm series but I also like Olympic themed books. I recently read Double Full and loved that.
Thanks everyone for commenting. I enjoyed reading them and seeing everyone’s sports book likes! There are some I need to add to my TBR list
One book I’ll throw out that should be on everyone’s TBR who likes sports books is “The Understatement of the Year” by Sarina Bowen. It’s hockey focused, and part of a larger series that she’s got. However, you can read it as a standalone, as I did. I read it back in January and I still think about some parts of it.
Good luck to everyone in the giveaway!
Like Outing the Quarterback and Canning the Center by Tara Lain.
I am very fond of Caught Running by Madeline Urban, Kate McMurray’s Out in the Field, Brad Boney’s The Eskimo Slugger and Sean Kennedy’s Tigers & Devils, but there are a few more as well 🙂
I haven’t had the opportunity to read many sports themed books. The one I remember reading is Natural Born Charmer (Chicago Stars #7)
by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Cute love story, just not the genre I enjoy 🙂 Thanks for the chance! Yours sounds amazing!
Congrats to Lee Todd!
