Thank you for sharing Dani. I know several people who have children with autism and it’s amazing the things they can do. I think we need to focus more on what they can do and less on what they can’t.

Thank you for the informative post and for sharing that anecdote with us. Every individual has their own way of working through things. Some may take more time (or less) than other but that kind of makes up their character (or at least that’s what I think). It makes them who they are.

Thank you for the post and the anekdote! I don’t have any relative, friend or acquaintance with autism but any information that can make others understand it better is a good thing.

The spectrum of autism is so complex, so the increased awareness is really important!

I have a friend who’s got a son with a mental disability. It’s not autism, but it is a very similar one. He’s a sweet boy with a great personality, and an amazing way of thinking… We all love him to bits.
Thank you for supporting the project. It is important to shed light over this topic, so that ignorance changes into awareness and understanding.

Thank you for your post. I think autism is very misunderstood. Depending on where children fall on the autism spectrum they are often perceived as unintelligent or rude. Nothing could be further from the truth.

My middle child is autistic, and life can be so wonderful, but also so very hard. Improved awareness for everyone would make our everyday stuff so much easier. Some people judge my son and my parenting without having any idea what he and I must deal with every day, just to survive. Thanks for sharing x

Thank you for participating in this autism awareness blog!
As a mother of a son who is multiple disabled because of brain damage due to premature birt and who has also autism. i know how important awareness is. There are so many people who don’t know a thing about autism and i’m hoping that by visiting this blog (tour) they will learn a bit more about it.
