Watching Marchant train his new sub leaves Tony unhappy at not having found a Dom of his own. Running Marchant’s BDSM club, Tony sees who the Doms prefer and it isn’t him—too big, too old, and too hairy. When his friend Jordan suggests he look outside the club, Tony’s mind turns to Leo, a man he met in a traffic jam. Tony manages to arrange a date and happily learns Leo is funny, very toppy, and not averse to Tony’s lifestyle. As a bonus, Leo sells sex toys.
When tragedy strikes the club, Tony fears he can’t help the mourning club members, but Leo offers his unwavering support. After such a tough start, Tony believes Leo is the Dom he’s been looking for… until he catches him kissing another man.
REVIEWED BY CINDY
After reading the first two books in this series, I was eager for a go at Anthony and Leo. Sue Brown seems to have a knack for making readers realize sometimes our expectations of people based on a first meeting might be completely wrong.
Being surrounded by happy couples is leaving Tony feeling lost and lonely. He feels like he isn’t attractive as a sub because of his outward appearance. His friends encourage him to look outside the BDSM club he works at and practically force him into a blind date with a man he only met once.
Leo isn’t a Dom, but it’s not like he doesn’t have a ton of dominant traits and he finds that having a man like Anthony kneeling at his feet is far more enticing that he could ever imagine.
It didn’t take long for Anthony to steal my heart. He’s good at looking after people and you can see how much he longs for someone to look after of his own…someone who will take care of him too.
Leo’s fun and sweet, but more than up to the challenge of dominating a man like Tony. His combination of gentleness and strength is just what the sub needs.
The chemistry between Anthony and Leo is immediate and intense with a little humor thrown in, due mostly to Tony’s well-meaning but sometimes over-protective (and very familiar) friends.
When something horrifying happens to someone Tony considers family, Leo is there for him all the way. I love how he sees past all Tony’s nervous self-depreciation and becomes exactly what Tony needs.
The angst, when it comes, is short but strong and I was so happy when Leo decided to take the bull by the horns and get to the bottom of Tony’s issues so they could get the happily-ever-after they deserve.
I liked this story a lot, but I do have to mention that reading the first two in the series is essential as this book is more of an extension of the Frankie and Al story and there are a lot of references to the two couples that came in the first stories. Without the background to understand them, the tale loses something.
This is a great addition to the series and I loved catching up with our old friends from the other books. I always love to have a glimpse at the HEA of the couples I’ve come to love. Also, I’m really hoping that Sue Brown will wrap up this series by finding someone wonderful for Jordan to call his own as well.

Sue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn’t following their orders, she can be found plotting at her laptop. In fact she hides so she can plot and has gotten expert at ignoring the orders.
Sue discovered M/M erotica at the time she woke up to find two men kissing on her favorite television series. The series was boring; the kissing was not. She may be late to the party, but she’s made up for it since, writing fan fiction until she was brave enough to venture out into the world of original fiction.
