REVIEW:
Ok, so real talk. I was a little bit bored with this episode, but I still LOVED it, if that makes any sense at all. It kills me that Sid is such a bastard, it really does. But I love it too. It’s such a conundrum.
In this episode we get a little insight to why Sid is the way he is. Having had a very rough childhood and feeling irrationally responsible for his sister’s disappearance he’s buried all those feelings in his bastard persona. And he makes no apologies for it.
Philip Marns is now fully aware of who is trying to bring him down and goes as far as to ask Sid to meet him at his office so they can size each other up.
Sid let’s Marns get to him and to release some of his tension goes to the gym to spar. Jack follows him and they have an explosive fight in front of all the gym patrons. We also have an appearance from an awesome character from the Afflicted series. I loved that little addition.
We get a lot of Jack’s emotions in this episode which was a nice surprise. It’s obvious he’s letting his feelings for Sid seep into his mission. And HOLY HELL we get our first sexual encounter between these two men and it is everything you could have wanted and more. After Sid swears up and down that he’s a top what Jack makes him see and admit to was ground breaking. So good.
Like always I am looking forward to Episode 5….bring it on!!!!!
