LENGTH: 48 Pages
BLURB:
Can the romance between a determined werewolf prince and a sassy stripper with a fetish for glass slippers outlast planetary rebellion and politics? Angelique Voisen updates one of your favorite fairy tales in Cinder and Char, a rollicking space opera filled with action, intrigue, and passion so hot it rivals the sun!
The two things Cinder Relli loves the most in the galaxy are gorgeous men and high heels. When he’s offered a pair of glass high heels by a massive alpha werewolf claiming he’s the ruler of a planet far, far away, Cinder is skeptical, but both the heels and the man holding them are too gorgeous to resist.
Prince Char Charming of the Charming wolf clan believes he’s the luckiest man in the entire Ever-after Galaxy when he finds his fated mate in a strip club, but claiming Cinder is harder than he thought. When planetary rebellion, politics and betrayal get in the way of their romance, can Char still convince Cinder their love is worth fighting for?
REVIEW:
Cinder is a very flamboyant gay dancer who works at a strip club somewhere in the galaxy. He adores his high heels and masculine alpha men, so when he is offered a pair of glass high heels, Cinder accepts and finds himself claimed as a mate by Prince Char Charming, leader of Planet Woof.
Cinder does not easily fall for the charms of Char even though he finds Char sexy and dashing. But he cannot resist Prince Char’s attentions and somewhere along the line, Cinder falls in love with Char.
Char the Prince Charming of Planet Woof is delighted that he found his mate so he takes his Cinder to his planet to live happily ever after. Unfortunately, there is trouble on planet Woof of which Char is unaware. Upon his arrival he finds rebellion and betrayal waiting for him and his mate.
I found the story of Cinder and Char delightful. Their story is an adult version of a fairy tale, but a very sizzling, action packed, and a cute one. I do not remember reading a story like this before, so I found it very refreshing, quirky and tongue in cheek. When I read the name of the planet, I was laughing my head off. This is a short story so I found it ideal for night time reading before falling asleep. By the time I finished the story and closed my eyes, I had a smile on my face. I think it is a good read for any adult who likes fantasy. There are some surprising events happening in the story, which were written in a way that made me smile whilst rolling my eyes because it is cheesy but still cute. It is a bit of a fluffy story, but make no mistake, Char is a total badass alpha werewolf and his Cinder is sassy and no one’s meek mate.
