REVIEW:
This short story is as different as can be. I don’t think I’ve ever read anything so….off-beat.
Kaya is this young lady who is now alone in life. Her Momma is gone…I assume she’s passed away as the story really doesn’t say. Kaya is lonely and not treated well by her Momma’s friend or the other villagers. Kaya seems to be a girl who has that rebellious streak in her. She always wants to know the how’s and why’s. I liked that she wasn’t truly a compliant. She has the chance to do something that is forbidden and she does.
Helki is a creature of the water. She feels a pull towards the surface and finds Kaya there. The need for this girl is overwhelming on both of their parts. I liked that it wasn’t just Kaya who felt the pull, Helki felt it as well. I liked that it was mutual.
This book was very erotic. There was lots of sex and then to add the tentacles….HOLY HANNAH. It was nice to see that Kaya allowed herself the opportunity to explore and enjoy the sensuality of not only her body but Helki’s as well.
This was a different type of story. I don’t mind interspecies stories at all and this was just a bit faster than the norm, but it was a sweet story and worth the little bit of time it takes to read it. A good f/f read.
