REVIEW: Well, there isn’t much that’s I can say about this book. So I’ll just get right to it.
Let me start off by saying that the paranormal MM romance, erotic genre is one of my favorites. If given a choice between reading a contemporary and paranormal story, I’ll choose paranormal every time. I picked this book expecting a treat but ended up with a trick. The story wasn’t bad; the bones of it were quite good but the meat of the story didn’t work. The story was poorly executed. Poor editing, plot holes big enough to drive a truck through made this story confusing to read. And it wasn’t just in parts, it was the entire book. I kept expecting an explanation or some kind of backstory to help me along with these characters and the situation surround them. You get nothing. I thought that this may have been part of a series of a spinoff from another book that I may have missed. So, I went back, looked over her other titles, and saw that this was a standalone. This book didn’t flow well at all. This combined with the poor editing…when I finished, I couldn’t really tell you anything about the book other than it was about shifters; one shifter was fighting the other for whatever reason. It’s a shame because the author had all of the materials for a really good story, but in the end, it was just a mess. If the author revised and re-release this story; proofread and edit it, it would be a pretty good read. I simply can not recommend this book as it stands now. Sorry.
