Author Name: Morticia Knight
M/M Erotic Romance author Morticia Knight enjoys a good saucy tale – after all, who doesn’t? Since she loves several genres, you may find your heroes in a contemporary, historical, paranormal or sci-fi setting. One of her passions is bringing people’s fantasies to life on the page, because life is too short for even one boring moment. Her stories are volcanic in heat, deep in emotion, and sprinkled with doses of humor.
When not indulging in her obsession for books, she loves the outdoors, film and music. The Pacific Northwest is the ideal spot to enjoy both hiking and beachcombing. Once upon a time she was the singer in an indie rock band that toured the West Coast and charted on U.S. college radio. She now resides on the northern coast of Oregon, where the constant rain and fog remind her of visits to family in England and Scotland when she was a child.
She is currently working on the Sin City Uniforms Series and a BDSM spin-off to the Gin & Jazz series entitled The Hampton Road Club. A follow-up to Bryan and Aubrey’s story in Rockin’ the Alternative will also be available in 2015 through Totally Bound Publishing.

Vegas is filled with human cast-offs, yet officer Parker McLean sees something special in hustler Slade Wolfgang. Unfortunately, so does Slade’s pimp who wants to sell him overseas in the sex trade.
Hustler Slade Wolfgang has little choice over his fate. At the age of twenty, he’s had to survive any way he can since being thrown out of his home for being gay. As soon as he hit Vegas, Slade was lured into the hopeless world of prostitution where he’s become a virtual prisoner to his pimp, the ruthless Julio Estevez. His evil keeper has even threatened to sell Slade overseas as a sex slave.
It’s another typical night on the Strip when Parker comes across Slade. His heart breaks every time he sees someone so young being exploited. Something in Slade’s eyes tells Parker the young man might be in real trouble though – especially after the recent spate of sex worker killings from a rival prostitution ring.
The two men’s lives become intertwined when Slade is almost beaten to death. The danger grows, but so does the relationship between Parker and Slade. Parker helps Slade to heal from the horrific attack and their bond deepens. But the human traffickers are still out there – and they’re still looking for Slade.
Publisher Advisory: Scenes of violence and a brief scene of sexual abuse. Although part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone.

Bliss. Complete and utter bliss. Lying back in Lonnie’s embrace was perfect. Everything about him tripped Parker’s triggers. Even the ones he’d never known he’d had. It had never entered his mind that he would love having a guy order him around in bed. But giving himself over to Lonnie’s will had been exciting, and exposing himself so shamelessly under Lonnie’s guidance had been fucking hot.
He made a sound of protest as Lonnie’s shaft softened, slipping from his body. Lonnie wedged a hand between them, no doubt grabbing the condom. He worried that he might be squashing his lover, but Lonnie hadn’t loosened his hold. It was almost as if Lonnie was taking care of him when Parker had assumed that he’d be the one doing the caretaking.
“That was amazing Parker, thank you.”
Lonnie lightly stroked his chest and Parker smiled. It had meant a lot to Parker that their first time together be a positive experience for Lonnie since Parker didn’t completely know what sort of traumatic sexual history the young man might have.
“I should be the one thanking you. Wow. I might never top again.”
There was an immediate change in Lonnie’s body language, definite tension had crept in. Parker laid his hand over Lonnie’s, stilling his motions.
“Talk to me, honey.”
He felt Lonnie shift under him and decided he needed to move off Lonnie’s body before he hurt him. He settled on his side so he could see Lonnie’s sweet face. He traced a finger around the fading scar lining his eye socket.
“It’s still pretty ugly, huh.”
“No. It’s not ugly, but it pisses me off. I think if I weren’t a cop and I ran into those guys somewhere…”
“Don’t. Not on my account. I don’t want to be a bad influence on you.”
“What— Is that what you think?”
Lonnie scooted down so that they faced one another. “I dunno. I don’t wanna come in here and turn your world upside down, change everything about you.”
Parker brushed Lonnie’s hair back from his eyes. He liked the way it fell through his fingers. “That’s not what’s happening here. If I change it would be because I decided I wanted to. That I decided that changing was a better thing for me to do.”
“So… Were you just kidding about not wanting to top anymore?”
Parker chuckled. He’d figured it had been something to do with that. “Sort of.” He locked eyes with Lonnie, anxious that he see the truth in them. “Except that bottoming has never been so good for me. I guess what I meant is that if it’s always that great, why would I ever want to top?”
“But you would if I asked you too, right?”
“That’s important to you, isn’t it?”
Lonnie appeared confused as he drew his eyebrows together. “Whaddya mean?”
“You like being in control, being in charge of me in bed.”
A fierce blush crawled up Lonnie neck and into his cheeks. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to—”
Parker cut him off with a kiss. He threw himself into reassuring Lonnie with his tongue, his lips. He claimed Lonnie’s mouth over and over until they were both breathless once again. Finally breaking away, he kept his hand at Lonnie’s nape.
“Don’t be sorry. I fucking loved it. I had no idea it would make me so hot.”
Lonnie chuckled. “Yeah. Me neither.” He chewed on one side of his bottom lip. “So, are we, like, boyfriends now?”
Parker’s heart ached in a good way. Lonnie filled it to overflowing.
“I’d like that—if it’s okay with you.”
A genuine smile lit up Lonnie’s face. “It’s definitely okay with me.”
“Excellent. Then what does my boyfriend want from me now?”
“Hold me.”
Parker melted a little inside. “C’mere.”
He enfolded Lonnie in his arms, reminded of the reality of the young man’s circumstances from not too long before. He knew the abrupt changes in Lonnie’s life had to be both comforting and frightening at the same time. Parker’s only desire was to be there for whatever and however Lonnie needed him. Knowing that Lonnie had experienced a great deal of trauma over an extended period of time meant that their road together might not be too easy. Parker hoped that he would always do the right thing by his new lover—no matter what that might mean.
