REVIEW:
Well, this definitely isn’t your Grandmother’s Christmas story. Wulf Francu Godgluck has proven yet again that when he says “They come to me in the night, creeping into my head. Their voices are all different, their stories all dissimilar, but they keep saying the same thing…Show us, tell us to the world. Bring us into yours, and make us known” he isn’t just speaking off the cuff.
This man’s thought patterns don’t even come close to resembling the rest of us! And I love that about him! In this short (very short) story we are introduced to “Booger” Loidl and his boyfriend Josh Willbrie. Booger has been an outcast all through high school, but that has changed in his senior year because he is now dating Josh, a star athlete.
Something strange is happening in their school and their town. People are turning up dead, with their hearts ripped out and missing. Some of them had an issue with Booger and his family, but who is killing them?
I totally didn’t see the end coming in this story. It didn’t go where I thought it would. I recommend it for a short very dark read. Christmas stories aren’t always about Santa Claus…
