Day 11
Reviewed by Danielle
Author: Rob Rosen
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Length: 22 Pages
Blurb:
Two strangers on a plane, one heading to Paris, the other Barcelona, both trying to get to their families in time for the holidays. It’s Christmas Eve, and all they have in common is a connection through London. When flights get delayed and cancelled, that connection goes beyond an airport, a terminal, and a secluded meeting room. And for Lance and Bruce, Christmas morning will hold even more joyous miracles.
A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2014 Advent Calendar package “Celebrate!”.
Review:
What a weird story! This story is extremely short and to be honest, I hardly know what I can write about it.
This story is not really a story, but a summary of two man meeting, having sex and feeling chemistry.
I don’t think I ever read so many “different” euphemisms and descriptions of sex in one story let alone in 22 short pages. The strangest words are used to describe a sexual action or to describe a specific body part of the male person.
To be honest it is hard to find something positive. The mention of family is sweet and the way both main characters fall for each other could be considered cute.
Because of the Christmas spirit I will be more generous.

I’ve enjoyed Rosen’s work in the past, so I’m sorry this one didn’t work for you!
I have that feeling too sometimes when I read a story. It just either made me speechless or there was nothing that stood out to me making it hard to come up with something to say about it. Thank you for the review.
