I enjoy stories with plenty sexual tension that for one reason or another can’t be resolved right away. That’s the case with The Devil’s Ride. Tooth and Luci can’t, or rather may not be together for a variety of reasons, and with danger lurking right behind the corner, the stakes are getting higher with every chapter. REVIEW:

My favorite television show, Sons of Anarchy, melded with m/m romance! I loved this book. I haven’t read Book #1 as they are standalone, but I guarantee it is on my “must read” list!

The book starts out in a strip club, where we meet Luci, where he works providing sexual favors to men who don’t mind a boy giving them a lap dance or kneeling in front of a glory hole. A mouth is a mouth after all.

Luci is hiding in a storeroom from some men who have come into the club violently looking for one of the female strippers. One of the other girls rats out Luci by saying that the girl was just with him. Before he knows what happens, he is dragged out of the room and hoisted up by a large biker. Recognition hits him and he says “Dad?”

It turns out his full name is Lucifer and he is the bastard son of the President of the Coffin Nails Motorcycle Club, a club that doesn’t exactly follow the law. They are looking for Luci’s co-worker because she has disappeared and she deals drugs for them and owes them a bunch of money.

Luci is dragged back to the Club’s clubhouse and put under the protection of a big hairy biker known as Tooth. Tooth is Luci’s father’s Vice President of the Detroit Chapter of the Coffin Nails Motorcycle Club. Tooth got his club name from his habit of pulling people’s teeth out to make them talk.

What a pair of opposites, a skinny blond twink and big hairy outlaw biker. But they soon realize they have more in common that most people, including Lucifer’s father think!

Along the way in this book we have the hostile wife of Lucifer’s father who doesn’t want a fag bastard around, we have organ harvesters, we have child abusers, we have some pretty heavy spanking, and we have general mayhem!

I highly recommend this book. I couldn’t put it down once I started, and read it in one marathon read! Do yourself a favor and pick it up today!  I liked it so much that while searching for the buy links on Amazon, I felt compelled to hit 1-click and purchase Book 1 in the series, which I’m going to start reading right now!

Tooth dropped to Luci’s mattress with a low laugh rumbling in his chest.

“No.”

Luci’s eyes went wide in shock at the closeness. He wished he could fall asleep spooned by Tooth, like before. Lying under his arm made Luci feel as safe as never before. Anyone who’d want to hurt him would need to go through Tooth first. “Why not? I’m pretty,” he said with a pout.

Tooth spread his large body, taking over Luci’s mattress and glanced at him. “Not all like them pretty.” He was so close his body heat tickled Luci’s skin, pulling it closer for another breath of Tooth’s masculine scent.

“I always have my deepthroating skills to fall back on.” Luci laughed nervously, unsure what to make of Tooth’s closeness. He was the one to bring this mattress in the first place.

Tooth was silent for a moment. “Yeah, I wouldn’t advertise that too much. No one will treat you seriously.”

Luci looked into his eyes in the darkness. “I can’t do much else.”
