Iyana lives in Jakarta, a city famous for its traffic jams, a lot of cars and motorcycles, and people selling stuff on the roads. You can spend two hours on the road going to a place you can reach in half an hour in a normal situation. Thanks to the traffic jams, though, Iyana can come up with a lot of stories, mostly shorties, as she prefers to spend the time during her trips writing into her cell phone rather than sleeping.
Another thing Iyana loves is kitties. Right now she has three of them. Their names are Cil, Horus, and Betsy, and one kitten. When she doesn’t write, she plays with them, or they would play with her when she writes.

“Who am I speaking to?”
Ethan would normally have hung up if the caller asked such an absurd question. Yet he hadn’t done that this time.
“Who do you want to talk to?”
“Err, I don’t know. Mr. Haynes gave me this number. Alex Haynes. He told me to call someone at this number.”
“Who is this? Where’s Alex? Let me talk to him.”
“Mr. Haynes is in surgery. We brought him to the hospital.”
Ethan jumped to his feet, his heart pounding.
“Where, where are you? What hospital?”
“Is this—Ethan Grey?” The man hesitated before he added, “Are you Mr. Haynes’s co-star? I thought I recognized your voice.”
Ethan froze. Something happened to Alex, something really bad, and he was in surgery now.
Amidst the nausea that suddenly struck him, Ethan could only listen as the man recounted what had happened after he confirmed that he was Ethan Grey. So—knife wound…lost a lot of blood…ambulance…the OR, and the next thing Ethan knew he was in his car and driving as fast as the speed limit allowed. He could only remember how his hands had been shaking and the only thing keeping him from falling apart was the steering wheel.
