“He own you?” I ask, not liking the implications but knowing I’m on shaky ground if I try to save this kid from a Dom that isn’t ready to give him up.
“Not anymore.” He curls into a ball on the only stool in the place. “I left him last night.”
“You were out there all night?”
He shrugs.
Fuck. This kid is worse off than I thought.
“What happened?”
He looks up at me for a second, just taking me in, then stands quickly. “I should go. I’m sorry to bother you.” He reaches for the door but I put a hand on his shoulder. The way he bucks away from me makes my blood boil.
I immediately lift my hand and he slumps forward, breathing quickly and trying to catch his breath. Lifting the back of his shirt, I’m not prepared to see the mangled skin and oozing scabs that crisscross his once beautiful skin.
I growl, unable to tame the beast. “I’ll fucking kill him.”
“No!” He chokes out a sob and falls to his knees. “It’s over. I just want to forget about Topher.”
Topher. Fucking pretentious name. Topher the prick.
I’m torn. I want to hunt down this Topher bastard and give him a taste of my own punishment methods but I can’t leave the kid. If I turn my back, I might never see him again. “Let’s get you to a hospital. You need stitches.”
“It’ll be fine in a few days. A little bit of peroxide and I’ll be good as new.”
This isn’t the first fucking time? That prick better move far, far away if he wants to keep his balls attached to his body.
