REVIEW:
I am a HUGE FAN of ménage and I was really excited to read this book. I loved the idea of 3 strong men finding their way into a relationship and finding a way to make it work for all parties involved.
Prescott Vaughan is this young man who has the world on a platter and is set to take the world on and make it his, when he’s in this horrible accident. Pres loses his sight, focus and hope for the future. Pres becomes a different man than who he started off. I have to say that I really liked Pres’ growth during the book. You see how Pres becomes more independent. Pres becomes a force to be reckoned with in his chosen field. I really liked how after the horrible girlfriend situation, Pres becomes friends and then falls for another man. I like that Pres grows as a person. He loses the feelings of self pity and that he should be grateful just to be with someone. That he’s a good man and deserves to be loved for who he is.
Dr. Rickson “Ric” Edwards is this really sexy doctor who lives in the same building as Pres. Ric has moved into the Ric has seen Pres about the building and is very attracted to him. Ric has moved from his prior hospital because of stupid bs and is now trying to remake his life in a new town and a new hospital. Ric was always attracted to Pres, yet he was willing to start as friends.
Blair McKenzie is an aspiring chef who is working on his Masters in Culinary Arts. Blair escorts on the side in order to pay off his student debts. Blair is this really great guy who is sweet and caring guy who also is a cocky, sexy, ultra cool cowboy. Blair has his own wants and wishes and even as he’s moving forward, he feels that something is missing. I like that Blair adds more to this story. I like that he adds to the relationship between Ric and Pres.
I love this story. I love how each character has the opportunity to learn and grow not only as individuals, but as a ménage. These guys are all have to make choices that impact not just their present but their futures as well. I liked that this wonderful story is filled with lots of love and acceptance. I liked that each character had to find their way in dealing with their place in this relationship and feelings. Coming to terms that they were not meant to be two, but three instead.
I liked the three main characters were so different and complex in their own ways. I like that this story was so well written and overall this book was such a wonderful treat. These characters made me laugh and cry. I wanted so much for these guys to each find their way and it was sweet the way it happens.
There is a fair bit of sex in this book, but you know A.E. Via’s style. It was good and HOT!! Yet, what I liked about this book was that it wasn’t just sex. It was also a story about finding yourself and those who you love and love you back.
I liked that this book deals with two men who are chef’s and a doctor. I loved reading about the jobs that they do. I really loved the way these guys cooked together and saw food as art. They way that they described the food, it’s texture…the smell…I found sensual.
