REVIEW:
When Aaron Riley walks into the Paranormal Detection Agency, Jack Atkinson knows he is going to be trouble; six foot two, dark haired green eyed trouble. Aaron, it seem has inherited a haunted house from his Grandmother a few months ago, he moved in with the idea to fix it up and either sell it or keep it for himself. Over the last month there have been a few strange occurrences, puddles of water everywhere and a strong feeling of pain and fear in the kitchen. Jack agrees to investigate and they set a date for Jack to visit the house.
The ghost is not happy with Jack’s visit and attacks him when he arrives at the house – there is something very angry in Aaron’s home. Along with fighting an angry spirit, Jack is also fighting his attraction to Aaron. Losing that battle, Jack invites Aaron out to dinner where the two get better acquainted.
After Jack’s visit, the spirit escalates its attacks and Jack must uncover who this spirit is and why it has now become active and remove it from Aaron’s home.
This was a good ghost story, equal parts humor and horror. Who the ghost is, why it is haunting Aaron’s home and what Jack does to free the spirit make for a satisfying story.
