REVIEW: An interesting short erotic romance to read. Here is Adam who set his eyes on dominant Jake who is everything a submissive could even ask for. Jake being in a relationship with another submissive did not trouble Adam because he heard that their relationship is on a rocky patch so he does nothing but try to attract Jake’s attention and succeeds one night. They have a very sizzling dalliance at the club that night and the story continues…
I like Jake’s personality traits because he is a fallible individual whereas Adam comes across as a determined to the point pf being a little pushy and needy male. Jake’s submissiveness is portrayed so differently in the story to the point he threw me off. His character was different from other M/M BDSM stories so it makes the story worth reading, otherwise the dialogue between Adam and Jake’s submissiveness is immature and very catty to the point I found myself rolling my eyes because, well…the dialogue was a little cheesy for me. The bickering between these two guys is really childish but what happens after their bickering is another event that threw me off. Wow! I was glued to my chair again.
The explicit nature and rawness in the sizzling threesome scenes is well written and described. The dialogue complements what Jake, his submissive partner and Adam do. The dynamics between Jake and his submissive partner is refreshingly different from other BDSM stories. I won’t say anything further so that you could experience my surprise too.
I guess my only issue was how Adam was kidnapped and treated by Jack and others as part of their sexual game. That part made me very uncomfortable because no kidnap play-acting is acceptable without the consent of all parties. That part felt very unrealistic and too cruel for me even though Adam seemed to be turned on by the treatment he received. I also would like to mention, unsafe sex was the other issue for me or what appeared to be unsafe sex between these three.
