Welcome to author Sunny Day who visits Love Bytes to talk about her new release

How did Accepting His Wolf come about? To tell the truth, I picked out Nathaniel first.
Then I looked for an ideal man (werewolf) for him. Of course, Nathaniel did not agree with me at first,
but it was obviously Rio.
Then I played devil’s advocate to add some spice to their relationship.
They both work toward same goal and are dedicated to their jobs, but their points of view differ which led to interesting developments.
In a way, they are both very similar and very different. I’d say that Nathaniel is more cautious of the two.
He had harder life and is determined to hold on to what he has. Rio is take-charge type and he will react instinctively.
Most of time, their choices mesh but not always. However, no matter what they do, their decisions have far reaching consequences for those around them.
In Accepting His Wolf, Nathaniel argued with himself about decision he had to make, and Rio had to force himself to ignore man who hurt Nathaniel,
because that was the best choice at the time.
While I was working, the file name was Nathaniel.
I suppose it shows in the way it’s written, but I tried to show Rio’s side equally.
I chose the title once I was done, and I hope it will be obvious to readers why (grins evilly)

I had a reason for looking for you, ”
Rio glanced behind him, wondering if his friends stayed behind to eavesdrop.
“Oh. That.”
Nathaniel smirked. “Yes. That.”
He heaved a sigh.
This was embarrassing. “They were matchmaking.”
Nathaniel looked taken aback.
“Matchmaking?” he repeated, confused expression on his face.
“Apparently, steaks at Mike’s are a lousy attempt at dating,” Rio offered.
It took a moment for Nathaniel to process his statement.
The look he gave Rio in return made him shiver.
“Are they?” he practically purred, his cheek brushing Rio’s shoulder.
He was almost sure Nathaniel did that deliberately. His breath hitched.
“What, you don’t agree?” he asked breathlessly.
Nathaniel gave him slow smile. “Definitely not.”

Not even Legion, the force which helped expel aliens who invaded their world decades ago is immune to rift between humans and shifters. When hostilities between two factions escalate to unattainable point in Legion station Boer, Legion decides to put a stop to mutual mistrust.
They send in new station commander and name a shifter as his deputy.
Neither Nathaniel nor Rio are supporters of this plan, but both know it has to be done.
They aren’t expecting attraction that flares between them and soon they are involved in relationship.
All around them tensions are mounting as friends and enemies alike pursue their own agenda.
Between violent attacks and sly political maneuvering, it’s hard to stay together.
Then Nathaniel’s past rears its ugly head threatening to destroy everything Nathaniel holds dear.
