PUBLISHER: Torquere Press
LENGTH: 78 Pages

Tiger shifter Evgeny worries that he’ll never find a lover who can stand up to his sheer size and strength. He’s scared off more than one man, which is why he turns to Harve and Stone at Full Moon Dating. He wants someone who can deal with his tiger self and not run away.
Acrobat and snow leopard Feng is all over Ev’s physicality. He’s used to working without a net, so he’s not afraid of anything Ev can dish out. Especially since Feng finds Ev far gentler than anyone would expect. They’re determined to make a two-city love affair work, so when Feng disappears, Ev will move heaven and earth to find him.
Review:
Everyone who knows me knows I love a good shifter story and when I read the blurb for this, I immediately requested it and I’m so glad I did. Not only did I find a great read, but an intriguing new author as well.
Evgeny is big and sweet and just wants someone to love. He’s so aware of his size and the potential for accidentally hurting someone and it makes him hold back so much of himself.
Feng is smaller but strong in different ways and there’s not one little bit of Evgeny that he’s afraid of.
The attraction between the two shifters is immediate and intense and while “instalove” isn’t something I can usually get behind, my usual rules go out the window when it comes to shifters. Animal instinct and pheromones let me accept the quick buildup of the relationship that’s necessary in such a short story.
I love how the author mixes sweetness and heat, making her characters appealing and lovable. Evgeny has just the right amount of insecurity that I think would come from being a big man with a big heart. Feng knows just how to show Evgeny that he is not only NOT afraid of him, but that he welcomes his strength and aggressive nature.
The side characters in this story are just as interesting. Harv and Stone are the owners of Full Moon dating and their success in finding matches for people who are struggling to find their own seems to come from the feelings for each other that they’ve been fighting for some time.
The sex in this story is hot and animalistic but manages to still be romantic. When Feng disappears, you can feel Evgeny’s desperation and fear as he searches for the man he loves and I found myself cheering for them the whole way.
This is the third book in the Full Moon Dating series and after reading this one, I immediately got the other two and read them as well. All the stories are worth a look and I can only hope that the author continues to add to the series. The writing is smart and fun and Ms. Talbot has a unique way of having the characters express themselves.
If you are looking for something quick, well-written and smoking hot, Full Moon Dating: Evgeny and Feng is for you!
