I’ll admit up front that I am nervous about my first GayRomLit coming up in October. There will be so many authors there that I admire and so many new people to meet. Sure, I have some friends going, but I’m still nervous! If you see me wandering around, please say “hello!”

 

I’m happy to say that Ellora’s Cave has extended my Gallant Gentlemen’s Guild series to five books. I love the Guild, it’s such a fun fantasy place to write about. I get to really have fun with art, drama, and NYC!

 

 

Book one, Artist’s Touch, is up for a Golden Ankh (an EC award). Voting is through July 23—please stop by and vote for books in a variety of categories. No registration, just pick the books you want to vote for. Here is the link.

 

Book two, Sculptor’s Desire, will be out August 27. I enjoyed writing this one, even though the characters (well one in particular) did not behave the way I put in the outline. It caused a crisis, but after wrangling with the situation, I think the book is better for it.

Book three, Guitarist’s Wish, is being written now. I have to say that I am really excited about this one. Yeah, it’s light like the others—but it deals with a main character that is HIV positive. I was so happy that Ellora’s Cave approved that path. And yeah, I have a family member who dies of AIDS and another who is HIV positive, so it is a topic I feel strongly about.

 

The last two books have characters and a plotline. I’ll think about those tomorrow!

Bio:

Kerry is a mom to three daughters, six cats, a chameleon, and various small animals (gecko, bunny…). Her husband says she’s a marketer’s dream, as she often believes everything she hears—at least initially. Her shoe horde will attest to her fine shopping skills.
