Good morning and thanks for stopping by as we post 5 randomly drawn questions from things people have asked since Desires’ Guardian’s release. I’ve trapped Rhys here at Love Bytes and told him he can’t get back to Chase until he shares a little with you, lol. While not amused with me, he did agree to a “few” questions, as long as they aren’t too personal (considering I was their biographer, I’m not sure what’s too personal considering I got to peek inside their bedroom 😉 )

Tempe: Say hi, Rhys and introduce yourself a little, then we will jump into the questions.

Rhys: Uh, hello. I only agreed to this because she’s holding Chase hostage, but I guess I can play nice. You all are the ones that have agreed to learn about the book and me after all. About me… I was a Marine and am now a bodyguard and PI in Milwaukee, WI. I run, with my Marine buddy and best friend Mark, The Coiled Dragon Agency. Not really sure what all you want to know so how about the questions now? But no sex! That’s not up for discussion.

Tempe: Don’t worry, nothing like that. Now, first question is… What impression do you make on people when they first meet you? How about after they have known you for a while?

Rhys: The impression I make on most people is intimidation and caution. Between my size, I’m well over 6 feet, and how muscular I am, most people see that before they really see me. I also have a thing for leather and Harley’s, so rough bad boy is the other I hear a lot.  And while I cultivate that—I mean, hello, I am ex-military and guard people, so it’s a very useful tool—it’s not all I am.

People that know me, really know me, know I’m loyal, protective, and friendly. Chase insists I’m a big teddy bear masquerading as a badass biker. Don’t know that I agree with him, but I’m not the scary guy most seem to think me to be.

Tempe: Do you think you’ve turned out the way your parents expected?

Rhys: *chuckles* Hell no. My folks thought I’d grow up to be an architect like my dad, or a CEO or some other high-powered office type person. They also thought I’d settle down, marry some sweet girl, and start a family. Instead, I went into the Marine’s right out of high school. I got my college degree when I got out, but because a PI instead of going the lawyer route my Dad tried to push. Oh, and in case you didn’t know already, I’m very happy with Chase and have never been interested in girls. They just don’t do it for me.

Tempe: Well, we love you just the way you are. J What would you like it to say on your tombstone?

Rhys: Husband, Father, Friend. Right now, I’m only one of those, but maybe one say I’ll get the other two.

Tempe: What is your most treasured possession?

Rhys: Other than my partner, I’m assuming. Hm… Probably the photo I have of me and a bunch of the guys before our last deployment while I was in the Marines. We’re still all close and there for each other. One of them, Grayson, even dropped everything to come when I needed him during the story Tempeste wrote, Desires’ Guardian.

Tempe: What is the quality you most like in a man?

Rhys: Loyalty. I can forgive many things, but if you aren’t loyal, I have no time for you. It’s one of the things that made me rethink about Chase. When I worked for Seth to guard James and Danni (Designs of Desire) I found out he was loyal and compassionate to the core. I didn’t want to believe that was really him, but he is, which kinda makes him my ideal guy.

Tempe: Well, you’ve been more than great, playing along with us, so I’ll let you get back to Chase. Say hi for us and be good.

Rhys: *smirks* Now why on earth would I want to be good?

Tempe: Hey, I didn’t say what to be at… LOL
