Despite a successful college teaching career, Noah Daniels has become depressed. He feels he’s leading a monochromatic life: love has eluded him. When he’s offered a chance to teach in London as part of an exchange program, he accepts, hoping a change of scenery will do him good. But once he’s there, his outlook on love and sexuality changes in ways he never expected.
Robert Callinan is Noah’s English counterpart in the program. The men exchange not only their jobs, but also their homes, and it is what Noah stumbles across while staying at Robert’s house that sends him on a journey of self-discovery—both mentally and physically. A journey that puts color back into his life… just not in the way he expected. When the exchange program ends, Noah has to go home, but he doesn’t know if he wants to return to the life he left behind.
REVIEW:
Sexy. Steamy. Enjoyable. Emotional.
Noah Daniels and Robert Callinan are both Art History professor. As a part of exchange program, they both swap places. Noah on London and Robert on Chicago. All Noah wanted out of this program is the change of scenery. But nothing prepared him to know the truth about himself, why girls can’t satisfy him and why he still hadn’t felt that spark.
His Pandora box is in the form of Robert’s porn collection. Like a moth he was drawn to it to the point where there’s no turning back. Going over Robert’s dvds made Noah felt like he became more familiar with Robert, developing into an attraction he can’t deny.
I did enjoy this. This book reminds of The Holiday, the gay version of The Holiday. I think this book is really romantic in way. Makes me sigh, find that someone and fall in love (ha-ha). Though I admit the build-up for me really started slow. Mostly the beginning is about Noah finding his own self and dealing with his new found sexuality, which I find necessary but just a bit slow. But when I finally met the infamous Mr. Robert Callinan, things started to really interest me.
I love Robert’s character. He is really interesting and really hot in my opinion. Can I keep him? For me his character is very lovable even though he is flawed and do mistakes. Sweet? Check! Is he hot? Check! Can cook? Check! But really, “can cook” is the deal breaker for me (lol).
The story is told in Noah’s POV, so I pretty much got to know him well. He is sweet inside and out and very strong, he stood up for who he is. I did liked the narration. I don’t know, I just find the pace and the tone of narration relaxing. I also love it how much Noah really wants to build a family of his own. And I love his relationship with his nephews, you’ll just say, “awwww.”
When I was near at the end of this book only then that I realized how this book was divided or arranged. I liked the chronology though I wouldn’t mind if the emotional angst is all over the place (In a good way not in a chaotic way).
All in all, a sexy, full of sex and enjoyable read for me.

Thanks, I have added to my list. Sounds different from the cookie cutter books that have been turning out lately.
