Book Name: Love Lessons Learned
Author Name: K.C. Wells
Author Bio: Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C.Wells always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way.
K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, where the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings – writing about men in love was even hotter…
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career.
The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.

Blurb(s): John Wainwright is having a momentous day. To start off, he lands his first teaching job. Then his brother, Evan, and Evan’s husband, Daniel, take him out to celebrate in Manchester’s gay village. An encounter with a sexy man forces John to admit what he’s been denying for too long—he’s gay. His coming out proves he’s supported and loved by his family and roommates. What more could a man want? There’s just one small problem: John’s dishy Head Teacher, Brett Sanderson, and John’s gigantic crush on him. Too bad Brett is straight.
Brett Sanderson leads a double life. At thirty-three, he is the Head Teacher of a primary school. But for seven years now, during every school holiday, Brett has fled to Brighton, where he becomes ‘Rob,’ a man who has a different guy in his bed every night but has never had a relationship.
Once he’s back in school, Brett is firmly back in that closet, until his newest staff member starts prying open the door. When John pulls out all the stops to get Brett’s attention, neither man is prepared for the consequences.
An Interview with Stu, Alec and Martin – Dishing the dirt on John Wainwright – and other things.
Dani: Thank you, boys for agreeing to be interviewed.
Martin: Thanks for the invite. We know you’re only over here in Manchester for a short while, so it was lovely to be asked. (Alec and Stu nod)
Dani: So, where does John think you are right now?
Stu: *snorts* Like he’s even noticed we’re not there. He and Brett were in his room—
Alec: I don’t think you need to go any further, yeah?
Stu: *snickers*
Alec: So, you said you wanted all the goss about John, right?
Stu: I take it you already know about his huge—
Martin and Alec in stereo: STU!!!
Stu: *shrugs* I’m just sayin’. She might not know, right?
Martin: if she’s read the book, she knows. *grins*
Stu: *evil grin* Yeah, but it’s the sort of thing that you can’t tell enough, all right?
Dani: *clears throat* Okay, back to the interview… What kind of house mate is he? Is he tidy, quiet, what?
Alec: He’s very tidy. Well, he’s tidier than Stu, but that’s not saying much.
Stu: Hey!!!
Alec: (ignores Stu) As for quiet, well…. *blushes*
Martin: When he’s working on his preparation stuff for school, you never even know he’s in the house. He likes things nice and quiet until he’s done. But when Brett’s around….
Stu: When Brett’s around….
Alec: (puts his hand over Stu’s mouth) We all invested in ear plugs months ago.
Martin and Stu chuckle.
Dani: Can John cook?
Martin: Yeah, he’s a pretty decent cook. I love his steak pie, and he makes a great sausage casserole. ‘Course, these days we are seeing a bit less of him. He’s round at Brett’s flat a lot.
Stu: *snorts again* Yeah, an’ that’s a good thing. My ears need a rest.
Alec: You’re just jealous. *pats Stu on the arm* Awww, what’s the matter? Is our resident slut not getting enough?
Stu: *mumbles under his breath* Like crossin’ a desert at the moment, I’m tellin’ ya.
Dani: So I take it you all get along okay?
Martin: Oh yes, we get along fine. John just seemed to fit right in. And his brother Evan has been round to the house a few times, along with his husband Daniel. Those two are a lot of fun.
Alec: And there have been some great nights on Canal Street with them. John loses a lot of his inhibitions when he goes out with us. He works so hard, it’s good to see him relaxing and having a good time.
Stu’s phone rings and he answers it. Hey, John! (Listens intently) Okay, I’ll ask ‘em. (Covers phone) John wants to know if we want to meet him and Brett at Via Fossa for a drink. They wanna chat to us about somethin’.
Alec: Ooh, that sounds intriguing. Tell him yes!
Martin: (looks very apologetic) Sorry, Dani. Is it okay if we cut this short?
Dani: *smiles* That’s fine. It was nice to meet all of you.
Stu: *speaks into his phone* Yeah, John, that’s fine. We’ll see you in about twenty minutes, okay? (Listens and then grins) Okay, let’s make it an hour then. (disconnects the call, chuckling) They ’ad some, er, unfinished business to attend to.
Alec smirks.
Dani: It sounds like John has his love life all sorted. What about the three of you?
Martin: *sighs* What’s there to talk about?
Alec: *leans over and gives him a quick hug and then looks at Dani.* And I’ve got nothing to add. Even Stu seems to be having a dry spell. *snickers* Which is a miracle in itself.
Stu: I have me moments, okay? *shrugs* Just…. Well, to be honest, I’m gettin’ a little tired of it all.
Alec: *gives an exaggerated gasp* Not thinking of settling down, are you?
Stu: *sighs* If I met the right bloke, who knows? *Alec stares at him for a second and then pats his knee*
Martin: I’m really happy for John. He’s a good friend. And it’s great that he’s got Brett. They’re a good fit.
Alec: Even if Brett was a bit of a dick in the beginning. *the others frown* Well, he was!
Martin: *smiles* Let’s just say John has a very forgiving nature.
Stu: *chuckles* You mean, John can’t stay mad with Brett for very long. Make-up sex is bloody great, and let’s be honest here, they have enough of it.
Martin and Alec: STU!!!!
Dani : *laughs* I think we’ll end it there. Thank you, boys.
Martin: You’re welcome. *Grabs Stu’s arm* And you…God, you need a gag sometimes.
Alec: *smiles sweetly* Well, if you need one, I know where you can get one. *winks*
( Dani watches them leave snickering , what a great set of guys . K.c better give them all their happy endings 😉 )
