Romance –
I have NEVER been a fan of romance novels. That is, until I stumbled across Gay Erotic Romance, aka M/M stories. After those, I was completely hooked. I do, on rare occasions, read hetero romance, but it has to have certain elements I’m drawn to, like an unusual location, or a quirky way the two lead characters get together. I can also read hetero romance, if the sub-genre is one I really like, like shifters, vampires, ghosts or something with magic. I read and love J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood, Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld, and P.C. and Kristin Cast’s The House of Night. All with a smattering of romance, but so much more.
But once I discovered gay romance, I tend to read those exclusively, and write those kind of stories, adding the sub-genres I love. I cannot tell you what it is about two (or more) men falling in love that I find so fascinating, but I, honestly, cannot get enough. Because they are “erotic” stories, the sex in them is hot…scorching hot. But that’s not all I look for, or even the most important thing. If it was, I could just read porn, or pure erotica. No, I look for the romance, the love and affection. The struggle to find it, nurture it and keep it. I look for the happily ever after. And when I’m done reading the story, if it’s a good one, I sigh in contentment at the end.
Then I run off to buy more…..

M/M is the only romance I read. Thanks for the giveaway!
I have read romance novels since I was 14 years old, 34 years. About 5 years ago I picked up a m/m romance book. I got hooked quickly and now that is all I read. I am always on the lookout for a new author. This book sounds really good. Thanks for the giveaway
I also have a hard time reading m/f romances anymore since I started reading m/m 3 years ago! Can’t wait to read this, thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
Thanks for the post. There’s something about M/M romance that is just so appealing. It’s almost the only type of stories I ever read anymore.
Me too. I really cann’t say when I last read something that wasn’t M/M romance.
I started reading M/M in approx 2007-I had been reading fantasy books with gay characters, but not really romance. I got some Amazon recs after I bought the Nightrunner books, and it’s been almost exclusively M/M since then.

I love romance in all its forms, but I’ll admit that M/M has a certain draw for me. The dynamics between two men break so many of the traditional molds in romance. Plus, it’s just hot. 🙂
Thank you for the giveaway! I’d love to win this 🙂
