LENGTH: 66.380 words
BLURB:
Blake Davis and husband Will are delighted when Ed Fellows turns up at the hospital the night their daughter is born—even if he is covered in mud from playing rugby and drunk out of his skull. Team-mate Colin is the Good Samaritan who drives him there, and when Colin takes Ed home, Colin finds himself on the receiving end of a blow-job. He has no problem with that whatsoever. He’s been in lust with Ed since Ed joined the rugby team some fourteen months ago. Only thing is, Colin’s assumed up ’til now that Ed is straight. Except the man sucking him off certainly didn’t seem straight….
Talk about the morning after the night before…. Ed awakens to find a nearly-naked Colin asleep on his sofa. The problem is that for some reason, he can’t get Colin out of his mind. Okay, so it wasn’t the first blow-job Ed’s ever gotten from a guy—or given, for that matter—but that was a long time ago, right? And why does Ed now want more?
With friends Rick, Angelo, Blake and Will to advise him, Ed finds himself on a completely unfamiliar road, as he struggles to accept that maybe the line he is walking isn’t as straight as he’d first imagined….

REVIEW:
I was delighted when I heard about this book featuring Ed, who’s lovely, sweet and bear-like. Whats not to love? And boy did we know Colin would fit in nicely 😀
I couldn’t wait to see where author K.c Wells was going to take us readers with this “last”part of her personal series.
When Ed and Colin end up together it could be the beginning but will it be? Ed is straight right? And how about Colin? What if it appears that Ed isn’t so straight as people might think and it seems that Colin is not straight at all…
That there are feelings there is very obvious from the start but what about the things around those feelings, the part where it isn’t just Ed and Colin but the “so called” outside world gets involved.
Can Ed handle this? Can he admit to his friends and himself most of all that this “thing”with Colin isn’t just a thing at all. While Ed is usually easy to read and a great friend, open and kind, this could be something that he isn’t sure he’s willing to open up about.
His colleagues, their rugby mates , his mother and family? Is Collin worth going for it completely?
So many of those questions come to the surface while reading this story and you cannot help getting completely sucked in to this compelling tale.
Quit literally, I might say because author K.c Wells sure lives up to her reputation of bringing out some hot steamy sex in her characters (much to this reviewers appreciation btw).
The already mentioned connection between the main characters Ed and Colin is instant, sexy, hot and heavy yet emotional. Still what I like most in this 3rd part is the friendship and the connection between the character of earlier books. The way they blend together live their life together as close and dear friends and part of each others business so to speak.
I loved to read about Blake, Will and their baby girl. Rick and Angelo what a great surprise there at the end but also the advice the guys give Ed and being their to listen.
The way the friends include the members of Ed and Blake’s staff, the way they stand up for each other and their “own” when there is need for that is wonderful.
Is there no down side? Yes a slight one for me, that is. The dialect Ed is speaking in isn’t always that easy to read. It even distracted me at certain times as I needed to work out what exactly was meant. Although I cannot deny that this accent is also very particularly Ed.
In total I can only say that Miss Wells delivered a great series with these stories and definitely didn’t disappoint with this last part.
One question remains though as a fan of these characters as I cannot disregard the slight opening left there. I certainly want to express my hope for a spin off featuring Derek and Rod, Please?
