REVIEW:
Sentimental that is what I felt seeing this story getting re-published. This was one of the first “highly sexual” rated stories I read when I was introduced to this “ thing”, a reading experience in the world of m/m reading pleasure (or was it a new life ? ;)).
I loved and still love this story so much. It got me completely hooked, making me a fan for life of author Miss Heidi Cullinan. After I read this book I continued my way through all the books she wrote that I could get my hands on.
It’s still one of my favorite rec’s when people ask me for a sexy, hot read that you will thoroughly enjoy.
Normally with the frequency I read I hardly ever take time to give myself the opportunity to re-read a story. That for me is a rare thing.
When the opportunity presented itself to do a review for the second release of this book, I have to admit I jumped at it…but would I still love it as much as I did the first time around? Would my preferences have shifted regarding to this one?
Well…?
No, I still adore this book. It’s freaking fabulous! It’s Hot, Sexy, Kinky, Exciting, Loving, Caring, Serious, Experimental, Sensual, Sexual and Exhilarating.
This story is still solid in the overwhelming offering it is in this genre. Is still a must read for anyone who likes the things listed above.
I can totally understand the different views in this story. You can rate it as a specific like with the kinky aspects, the soft-core bdsm parts, but in general you cannot deny the solidness of the story.
You instantly feel something for either Sam or for Mitch at the start of this book. You can perhaps relate to the insecurity, the tenderness, the loneliness, the(silent) want, the kinky aspect or the love.
Let yourself fall for one of them or both for that matter, let yourself be thrown for a loop with Randy entering the picture, knowing that you can very soon read the new release of his story too.
Is there no criticism there then you might think?
Well there could be. You can feel like they move too quick, that it is a bit to instantaneous, a bit too kinky or too much of it all (especially when Randy is there also), but for me no, it isn’t.
Even though I’m not a specific fan of bdsm ( although some authors can make me seriously reconsider that statement ) and I’m not really into threesomes or voyeurism, I still say this isn’t too much on any note.
For my this is top of the bill a solid 5 stars and more.
Let yourself be swept away by the Special Delivery “Tales/Experience” of Miss Cullinan. I’m looking forward to talking to you after the release of “Tough Love” (Finally it is coming) 😉
