BLURB: While performing as Cupid on Valentine’s Day, Josh has the unpleasant task of delivering a break-up message to Dallas from his girlfriend, Jess. Jess is convinced Dallas is gay, and when Josh tries to comfort him, he finds she may very well be right. When Dallas’s best friend Austin arrives, it’s up to Josh to show both young men the love and acceptance they’ve always had in each other.
A part of the “A Valentine Rainbow” set of 14 holiday stories
REVIEW:
Josh is having a crappy Valentine’s Day but not as bad as Dallas, whose girlfriend dumps him with a poem telling him that he’s gay.
This story is sweet and funny and had me hooked from the start. Josh is a (mostly) nice guy who feels bad for Dallas and tries to help him out while getting a little something sweet for himself.
When Austin shows up, Josh hides while Dallas talks to his roommate. It doesn’t take him long to figure out that the two men are crazy for each other and decides to help them find their way to true love…or at least crazy hot sex.
And they do it with adorable heat and a few tears. I love that Josh gets to be the good guy in the end, even if I wasn’t sure about him at first.
I know that some readers might have a problem with Dallas losing his previous “straight guy” hang ups in such a hurry, but I found it forgivable because of the excellent writing and cute premise. Besides, Austin and Dallas (cute little Texas name thing there BTW) have had years of getting to know each other and loving each other as friends. I’m pretty sure that’s enough foreplay for anyone.
This is the first story I’ve read by this author but I will be looking for more.

This seems like a story I would go for even with the quick paced “straight guy hang up” thing.
Sounds like a cute Valentine’s day read!
