A very special interview today on the Blog of Sid Love.
I had the opportunity to interview “Hit “authors Parker Williams and K.C Wells to talk to them about their new release, their first co written book “Someone To Keep Me”.
It’s a part of the Collars and Cuffs series. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did while I was talking to them 🙂
K.C: We all still here?
Danielle: So let’s see if we are here 🙂
Danielle: Well I am
Parker: Still here.
K.C: Hurray! Dani, go for it!
Danielle: Well next time I say I want to try something, say, Well Dani, are you sure?
But thanks for doing this anyway.
K.C: No problem!
Parker: Thank you for asking.
Danielle: So Someone to Keep Me that you both dragged me away from!! How did it come to exist?
K.C: lol over to you, Parker?
Parker: When I met KC she was working on An Unlocked Heart. She shared bits with me and I fell in love with Leo and Alex. She asked me if I’d help her plan Trusting Thomas and I loved doing it.
Then she asked about us writing something together, but I was hesitant because I thought there was no way I was at her level of writing, and I wasn’t sure we had a story we could both do.
Then I had the idea for a character from the United States (Scott) going to England to meet someone and from those seeds, KC and I made the story grow.
K.C.: I liked the idea of characters from two different cultures – especially when we realized what fun we could have with the language differences!!
Danielle: From what I read already I have to say you both succeeded in that. It made me smile on several occasions.
So the story is written from both POV. Did each of you take one POV to write?
K.C: Actually? No. We both wrote for both characters.
Parker: Then discussed it, corrected language issues, and moved on from there.
K.C: “corrected language issues” *snort*
Danielle: Surprising I think, because my first instinct had me thinking that one of you was Scott and the other was Ben. Thanks for explaining that.
Well one of you is English and one is American. Should I even ask? 😀
K.C: LOL. Will says HE speaks English.*snicker* It was great reading through each other’s bits.
Parker: I made her language better. The bastardization of the language threw me off.
K.C: HAHAHAHAHA
Danielle: LOL I guess Scott and Ben didn’t get you both to agree on what is correct language? 🙂
K.C: Usually it was a case of “We’d say it like this…”
Parker: No, each of us used words the other wouldn’t.
K.C: What he said..
Parker: A word in America carries different meanings in the UK. KC’s comment about two countries divided by the same language was so very true.
Danielle: I think reading between the lines of this I can see Ben and Scott answering/reacting like you two 🙂
With me being Dutch, I have to say I do notice the differences in the meaning of a word in both languages.
K.C: The nicest comment I received was that someone said they couldn’t tell which bits I wrote and which bits Will wrote
Danielle: That is why I initially asked the question about if both of you created a man 🙂
Parker: Oh we did. We each made our characters, then blended them together.
Danielle: That is a nice way of doing things, the way you both created them together to suit both your views.
Will, was it hard to get into a story from K.C as it is no secret that the two earlier parts are very successful.
K.C: I liked that our writing styles meshed so easily.
Danielle: You partially answered that already by telling us you were part of the process for Trusting Thomas.
Parker: No, not at all. I thought it would be, but it was surprisingly smooth. She’s got a style about her that makes it very easy to read and get into.
Danielle: But still writing is a different thing I believe.
K.C: There is SO MUCH of Will in Trusting Thomas.
Danielle: K.C, sharing your characters with another writer, what did that do to you?
K.C: What was strange was that it felt as though Will already knew the characters.
Danielle: Seeing you both telling how easy it was for you two to write together that makes sense I think.
K.C: Someone asked me this week how I dealt with it when Will wrote something that I didn’t like. How did I tell him that, etc, and did we reach a compromise. I have to be honest, that wasn’t an issue. There were tiny compromises, true, but they were over really small stuff.
Danielle: Still I have the feeling it wouldn’t have been a problem anyway . Watching you both interact on FB, I think you have a solid, honest, open relationship. So I assume things can be talked about?
Parker: We thought we had everything done. We planned it from beginning to end. As I was on my way home from work one day, I thought about a change in direction near the end, so I came home, typed it up, and sent it to KC. She called me on Skype and said, “What’s this?” I told her, thinking she wasn’t going to like it. She said, ‘No, I love it!”
Same thing, she made some changes that made the story stronger as a whole.
Danielle: Do you both believe you need to have a good relationship to be able to write a story together?
K.C.: I think it helps.
Parker: Yes. You need to know the other person, at least decently, in order to work together.
K.C: I can talk to Will about ANYTHING.
Parker: (And she does! :rolls eyes:)
K.C: HAHAHA
Danielle: LOL *dani thinks how in the world do I put that in an interview*
K.C: It started out as a joke – Will, my psychically-linked twin.
Parker: And KC is my psychotically linked twin.
K.C: *Cuffs Will’s ear*
Parker: Collars KC.
Danielle: LMAO How am i supposed to ask serious question here when I am laughing out loud? 🙂
K.C: LOL But you have NO idea how it feels when Will does a post and says, “See what my Sis has done!”
Danielle: Yes I do being an only child I found some people online that I thankfully and happily call my family.
K.C: :nods:
Danielle: Do you both think writing this book made your connection even deeper? or stronger is perhaps a better word?
K.C: oooh *strokes chin*
Parker: For me? No. I think we were very close when we started writing together. I don’t really think much has changed.
K.C: What he said. At least I’ve gotten to meet him since we finished the book.
Parker: Which wasn’t nearly as intimidating as I was afraid it was going to be.
Danielle: Either of you want to share something about that?
K.C: awwwww I told him that within five minutes he’d feel fine. I wasn’t worried in the slightest.
Danielle: haha the UK meet is in June and I am already scared as hell!
K.C: LOL
Parker: I’m not really a public person. For me to meet someone, even someone I care about, is difficult. When I went to GRL it was a huge step outside my comfort zone. Knowing that KC, Becky Condit, Laura Harner, Tom Webb and Max Vos were going to be there made it tolerable, but it still took a lot for me to leave the safety of the room I was huddled in.
K.C: And I was SOOOOOO proud of you when you did!
Danielle: Do you believe meeting any of those people face to face changed your feelings about them Will?
Parker: The ones that I was close to, I’m still very close to. I knew them from Facebook before we ever met, and that was the only reason I was comfortable enough to give it a try. Some of the people I met from the conference helped me to realize that all the scary thoughts in my head were just that. Thoughts.
Oh, and meeting Cate Ashwood was a highlight for me! She didn’t know I was going to be there, and I said nothing because I was certain I wouldn’t be able to get out of the room. KC took me to a reading and pointed her out.
Danielle: Cate is sweet 🙂
K.C: Oh yes, she is. :waves to Cate:
Danielle: Ok thinking how to get this back to the book, lol.
K.C: Where do we go from here?
Danielle: You sure it isn’t too personal for you? *looking at will*
Parker: No. Considering some of the things I’ve said recently, this is easy. 😉
Danielle: Well still this is a blog not your personal page 😉 Going back to your release, is this it? Is there going to be more I mean?
K.C: Hoo yeah
Parker: There are at least three other books we’re planning. Plus KC has honored me with agreeing to write something outside the Collars & Cuffs world.
Danielle: Well both your fans will be thrilled to hear this I think… uuh both your fans, not in like there are only two *Dani sighs*
K.C: hehehehe *was thinking that*
Danielle: The fans of your books/writing will be thrilled to hear that news
Parker: I don’t have fans. I have people who look at Someone to Keep Me and keep asking Who is this guy KC Wells is working with?
K.C.: sigh
Danielle: I think you are too modest Will as there was a release last year – a certain book called Pitch but i can be mistaken of course
K.C: *I* think that with all the people who LOVED 500 Miles, and all the people who LOVED Alex, Leo, Thomas and Peter … there is a crowd of people out there anxiously awaiting this book!
Danielle: Will you say three more books and then mention something outside the Collars and Cuffs world, this means the three named there are from the Collars and Cuffs series?
Parker: Yes. Three C & C stories, plus one not connected in any way.
Danielle: Yes the anticipation is high, we don’t have to hide that fact. Is that frightening or just exciting?
Parker: I’m nervous.
K.C: and I’m excited
Parker: So we have both bases covered.
Danielle: So quick is there any way either of you want to tip a little bit about what can be expected (that goes back to Will’s answer)
K.C: What – the next one?
Danielle: Yes the three collar and cuffs and the one not connected ( not that i am greedy or anything 😀 )
Parker: The three Collars & Cuffs stories are in the planning stages. The next one is called Damian’s Discipline and features two characters we meet in Someone to Keep Me. The others we’re not ready to talk about yet.
The one outside the C & C world is a paranormal story. It’s more like a thought than an actual story at the moment.
Danielle: Thank you. K.C, does this mean the Collars and Cuffs books will be joint writing from this moment ? Because I could be mistaken but I thought there was one coming in a few month that was solo written?
K.C: Yes, and another two from me
Danielle: Wow that means this is going to have 6 additional books for this series!
K.C: =D
*crowd cheers hearing this news*
Parker: That’s if KC doesn’t kill me first. She’s been making dagger-glances in my direction lately. (Don’t tell her I told you. She doesn’t think I’ve noticed.)
K.C: Damn! And I thought I was being soooo careful!
Danielle: Will, I am sure if she killed you it would be after the books.
K.C: *straightens face* Will, dearest! As if i would!
Danielle: Well Will I am sure you better just enjoy the success for a while before she kills you off 😀 KC, you mention two more from you in this series can you tell us what more to expect from your hand?
K.C: I’ve had readers ask me if Dorian’s story was going to be told. And others who thought that maybe Darren, the hairdresser from Trusting Thomas, was going to have a book too. The answer to both those questions is YES.
Danielle: And also you are writing books in other series right now?
K.C: Yes
Danielle: Will, what is there to come from you/Parker?
Parker: Wet Paint is my first priority. I hope to have the story completed and to beta readers by the end of the month. There will be a shifter story that I’m going to be working on after that will likely become my first self-published story.
Danielle: That sounds promising from both accounts. Is there anything either of you want to share with our readers on the blog?
Parker: We appreciate the fact that so many people are looking forward to reading Someone to Keep Me. We hope that our first collaboration meets with their approval and that they’ll be interested in what else we have planned.
K.C: It’s been great that so many people have messaged us, telling us how they can’t wait to read it.
Danielle: Thank you both for your time. You are wonderful people to talk to.
Parker: Thank you for talking with us. We appreciate it and hope you enjoy the book. (Remember: The good parts were written by KC. I wrote the other stuff.)
K.C: Sigh. He ALWAYS says that. Hey, Will? it’s ALL good stuff, and you know what? WE wrote that! 🙂
Danielle: Amen to that 🙂
K.C: Thanks, Dani
Danielle: No thank you!
Parker: Have a great day! Thank you for your time.
K.C: What he said
Danielle: 🙂 thank you seriously
K.C: you’re welcome 😉
Danielle: ooh You guys are funny you totally made me forget what I wanted to ask
so perhaps I can still shoot these two question towards you: Your favorite character from the Collars and Cuffs books?
And if either of you can identify with one of the characters used either as a main character or side characters ?
Danielle: If by chance you both are still here lol
Parker: My favorite character is Leo. It was such a thrill writing him.
And I identify with Scott. He’s got a lot of me in him.
K.C: Hey! you can’t have Leo – he’s MY fave character!
Danielle: HAHAH
Parker: Too late.
K.C: 😛
Danielle: so you both have Leo as your favorite character. Can you identify with any of your characters K.C.?
K.C: They all have bits of me in them. There’s a lot of me in Alex but as for identifying with them..
Danielle: Thank you again K.C Wells and Parker Williamsen for your time, your humor and your honesty
I felt honored to have had this opportunity to communicate with both of you.
~Danielle

Scott
“Hands and knees, boy.”
I obeyed him, doing my best to move smoothly and gracefully, just like he’d taught me. I tensed when his hand spread my cheeks and he pushed a couple of slick fingers into me. I squirmed as his fingers scissored inside me, stretching me. When Ben pulled his fingers free, I stifled my noises of disappointment. Ben held up something for me to see. It was a slim butt plug in black silicone. I swallowed.
I tried to relax as he pushed it slowly into me. “God, it feels so big.”
Ben chuckled. “This is nothing, wait until it’s my cock.” And didn’t that thought send a ripple through me. At last I felt the flat base of the plug and knew it was all the way in.
“Stand up.”
I got to my feet, the movement pushing the plug against my prostate. Oh, hell. I couldn’t see me lasting long without coming—until I saw what Ben held in his hand. It was a cage of some sort, its shape mimicking a dick. I gasped as Ben pushed a metal ring over my cock and eased my balls through it carefully. The ring had a catch where it rested on top of my dick. Then he slid a lubed hand over my length. I shuddered to finally feel his hand on me, but it was short-lived as he proceeded to slide the cage very slowly over my cock, until at last it snapped into position on the cock ring.
“Sir?”
Ben grinned. “Subs who behave the way you did have to expect punishment.”
I gulped. All in all, I thought I’d got off lightly, except Ben wasn’t finished.
“On your knees.”
I obeyed him, conscious of the plug in my ass and the weight of the cage around my cock. I wondered what was coming next, and my mouth fell open when Ben unzipped his fly and pushed his jeans down over his hips.
Ben cupped my chin and lifted my face to look at him.
“Suck my cock, boy. And make it good.”
Oh… oh, wow.
Ben
God, I was hard.
Scott knelt before me. Smiling up at me, he pulled my underwear down slowly, releasing the solid cock hidden inside. It sprang up, heavy and thick, bouncing in his face. Scott’s eyes moved to mine. I nodded toward my cock.
“Sir? May I?” Scott lowered his eyes reverently. I placed my hands atop Scott’s head.
“Do it, boy,” I whispered. Scott reached for the thick shaft in front of him. “No hands.” My voice was thick and husky.
Scott nuzzled my balls before licking from the base to the head of my engorged prick.
I couldn’t suppress a shudder. Scott chuckled, and I gave my boy a quick cuff on the side of his head. Grabbing Scott’s head, I pushed him down, the warm lips engulfing my prick. I moaned, the sensation of the boy’s mouth nearly overwhelming. I let him suck at his own pace for a few moments before I locked my hands around Scott’s head and started thrusting into his mouth. All too soon, my balls began to pull up.
“You’re doing so well. Going to come, boy.”
Scott tried to back off as I shot, but my grip held him tight. I emptied my load into his waiting mouth. When I was done, I gave the
simple one-word command.
“Swallow.”
I smiled as Scott gulped my load, his throat working on the head of my dick, causing tremors to rock my body. After I’d finished, I released him. He leaned back and looked me in the eye, smiling, a part of my come running slowly down his chin. I wiped it off with my thumb and started drawing away, but he grabbed my hand and popped my thumb into his mouth. He released it, and his eyes dropped to the floor.
“Thank you, Sir.”
I couldn’t help the wide smile on my face. Now to deliver the bad news.
“Now you’re going to bed. And the plug and cage stay there for the night.”
I watched his eyes widen as realization sunk in. Now he got it.
ABOUT K.C. WELLS
Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C.Wells always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way.
K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, where the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings – writing about men in love was even hotter…
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.
K.C. can be reached via email (k.c.wells@btinternet.com), on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/KCWellsWorld) or through comments at the K.C.Wells website (www.kcwellsworld.com) K.C. loves to hear from readers.
ABOUT PARKER WILLIAMS
PARKER WILLIAMS began to write as a teen, but never showed his work to anyone. As he grew older, he drifted away from writing, but his love of the written word moved him to reading. A chance encounter with an author changed the course of his life as she encouraged him to never give up on a dream. With the help of some amazing friends, he rediscovered the joy of writing, thanks to a community of writers who have become his family.
Parker firmly believes in love, but is also of the opinion that anything worth having requires work and sacrifice (plus a little hurt
and angst, too). The course of love is never a smooth one, and Happily Ever After always has a price tag.

Loved the interview. I can sympathize about GRL. It sounds so fun if I could be a fly on the wall, but not sure if I’d have the guts to just relax and enjoy. I’m glad you had a good time after all. 🙂
Thanks Barbra!
Great interview! The book(s) sound amazing. Can’t wait to read this series, can ya tell I love series? And it was very nice to see Will at GRL. Hope to see you there this year too.
Thank you ! glad you liked the interview 🙂
Great interview. That excerpt…my oh my… I’m looking forward to seeing what you two will put out together in the future =)
Thanks H.B Glad you liked it 🙂
I’m always intrigued by collaborations, and even the interview is entertaining!
thanks Trix 🙂
Really nice interview, Danielle & KC and Will! It was great fun, and I’m so glad we got a peek into the wonderful friendship you have, as well as how great the collaboration works for both. It was kind of jarring to go from all the fun to that particular excerpt, but I enjoyed them both! I don’t usually get drawn in by sexy covers, but there’s such beauty in this one, the body positioning and look in his eyes, that I couldn’t not want to take more of a look at this one. It’s been on my wishlist since seeing the cover and reading about it. Wishing you both much success with it and the series! Thank you for the chance to win, too.

Loved the interview! You guys made laugh so hard…too funny. There is an excellent chemistry between these two friends that is to envy. Their partnering in writing this book was one of the best decisions these two have made. I’ve read their books written individually and they are both excellent writers but together? They are explosive! Well done. Someone to Keep Me is a great story everyone who loves reading M/M should read.
Thanks for the interview!
Oh my gosh, that excerpt had me squirming! And the interview just had me choking back sniggers…. I probably shouldn’t read this stuff at work… 😀
