I love all Shira’s books, but the Blue Notes series will always be a favorite because the men feel so real, and their romances resonate with feelings I can relate to perfectly: longing, insecurity, hope, and love. It’s just a beautiful series. Men in love are just so… awesome. 😀

Aww, thanks so much Tali! And yes, I agree… men in love really are wonderful (and writing about them is a joy!).

While I definitely want my HEA, it doesn’t mean as much if there aren’t real obstacles that the heroes have to overcome to attain it. Whether those come in the form of real-life doldrums (“Honey, you forgot to pick up milk at the store”) or maniacal magic bad-guys, they’re all the spice that makes the HEA sweeter.
That being said, there is something very satisfying about getting to see what comes AFTER the dramatic confession/wedding/riding off into the sunset/whatever. It’s like getting to read the sequel to one’s favorite book! And it’s hope-inspiring to see that, even though there may be struggles and hardships, true love will go the distance. That’s why I read romance: so I can believe in love.
All of your lovely men, Shira, are true heroes because they’re willing to persevere for the sake of love. It takes a lot of strength of character, and that’s what attracts me to them. Can’t wait to read the next installment in your series!!!

It’s great that you’re going to be a regular blogger here! Your Blue Notes books are addicting and I love every one of them. Also, I’ve started listening to David Garrett’s work. He is definitely a wonderful visual for the series and his playing is so very enjoyable.
