BLURB: Noah hates his job at the popcorn kiosk, and finding out his original holiday plans to return home have fallen through doesn’t help make his season bright. The daily Secret Santa gifts left on the counter of the kiosk are, so far, more frustrating than cheerful. Then a clown determined to turn Noah’s frown upside-down convinces him that Christmas might not be as terrible as he’d expected.
A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2013 Advent Calendar package “Heartwarming”.
REVIEW:
Noah’s feeling like a Grinch after finding out that he will be spending Christmas alone. He just wants to be left alone to pout. But there’s something ruining his perfectly bad mood.
The gifts some mysterious soul has been leaving him at work. He can’t help but be annoyed and intrigued at the same time and sets out to find his Secret Santa.
This story is sweet and funny and a lovely little holiday gift. There’s no doubt as to who the gifter is and the story goes in a predictable direction, but you’ll go willingly and all of you will be wishing you had a Daniel in your life.
There’s nothing to complain about in this story but nothing to rave about either. If you’re looking for something quick and Christmasy that will make you smile, this is it.

Sounds like a sweet story.
I wasn’t too sure about this one when I read “clown,” but the review changed my mind. It actually sounds pretty cute and now I’m interested in learning what gifts Noah has been receiving. Thank you.
Awwww!
