Not so much a theme restaurant, but we have a cafe/restaurant in the old steam railway ticket hall and you can have the fireman’s (stoker maybe in America?) breakfast, served on a shovel (cleaned of course!!!)
They also run steam dining experiences, pulled behind the steam engines with different themes – Shangri La Express, Orient Express, Gin Train, pie and mash etc – great fun!

Ooh, that sounds fun! I love trains, especially old ones.

Thanks for the list of interesting eateries. I recognized and even eaten at a few, laughed at others. At first I didn’t think I’d have anything to contribute, but then I thought … I’ve had several meals at restaurants in D.C., NY, San Francisco – where the servers were drag queens, accompanied by periodic performances. So much fun.

Oh, fun! I’ve done the drag queen brunch at the Starlight Room in SF and had a great time.

My parents & I did a dinner train once. It was a great meal & the view from the train was fantastic. We were lucky we caught the last public dinner the train line was doing, after that they were only doing charters because of the increase in freight traffic on the rails.
