Christmas has arrived. Isaac and Kyle are under constant surveillance from the newly formed Princes’ Guard at Moss, Aiden and Troy’s request. Their nest has been pulled in different directions, leaving the two of them alone at a time usually spent with family. Kyle sees that Isaac is struggling with his separation from Moss and decides to introduce him to a new aspect of the ‘Paranorm’ world. EXCERPT # 1
Starting from the corners of his mouth, Moss’ face began to light up with a soothing grin. The mask made of blood, war and politics lifted, leaving the man in the monster’s wake. He reached for me without saying another word, but his actions spoke thousands. One of his hands buried itself in my golden hair, the other pulled me in by my waist.
I’d waited so long to feel his touch.
He lips smacked mine. Hard. He forcefully pushed me down as he leaned in. His grip tightened around the back of my head and his body vibrated with lust. If I still required oxygen, Moss would’ve suffocated me. If my body were still human, Moss would’ve broken me.
EXCERPT # 2
“Nothing will happen, Isaac. Relax. Enjoy yourself. This place wasn’t built for pouty vampires to stand around and miss their partners. Order a drink – order a lap dance! Just, have some fun, yeah? Here, take a sip of mine! Moss won’t mind if you loosened up,” Then, after forcing me to drink some of the sugary-blood cocktail, his smirk emerged. “Actually, he might have an easier time if you did. Just how big is he?”
“You’re such a pervert!” I slapped his chest as he laughed.
“And you’re such a prude!” He teased, grabbing my face with both hands as he closed in on me. “C’mon, Isaac. What’s the point in living forever if you can’t get completely obliterated with your best friend and test your supposedly immortal liver?”
