BLURB:
What would you do when your pretend-husband turns out to be your real fated mate…
Clay
When I asked Aiden to be my date, I expected a fun weekend, a weekend filled with jokes and maybe some booze. I didn’t expect that I’d mate him, or the fallout of that reckless decision.
So, trying to do things right for once, I’m going to become Aiden’s boyfriend while we figure things out.
Aiden
A fun weekend with sexy Alpha Clay turned into so much more. But I can’t just welcome him into my life, not with the situation with my sister and Seb still going on.
Trying to be boyfriends first seems like a good idea, especially since I’m totally not ready for the implications of what happened last weekend…
This is the second novella about Alpha Clay and Omega Aiden in Making a Family, which takes place in a non-shifter Omegaverse world and contains mpreg (male-pregnancy).
REVIEW:
Wow, so this story is getting good!! To see that these two men who come from such different places are trying to make a go out of getting to know each other and really make their mating work….just a bit slowly.
This book picks up right where the first book left off. To see that these two decide to make things work and to get the chance to get to know each other and move forward with their lives. To get to know more about their families and each other. To see that these two men who are individuals, coming different places…Aiden…trying to raise Seb and make things work with this man that he’s just met. Clay…this guy who didn’t really think about family…there were lots of wonderful moments of them getting personal with each other and with themselves.
It’s nice to see that Clay really listened to his brother, Wes about being an Omega and the things that they go thru. I like Wes…but there is something going on there that he’s not talking about and it really, really worries me. I liked getting to view their families a bit more and seeing Aiden’s family…well…let’s just say that it’s a shame that he’s related to these people. It’s sad that there are people out there actually like this and that still pisses me off.
The character development is really good and I’m really happy in how the plot seems to be going. I like that there are consequences to our actions and it’s in how we deal with them that matters the most.
