🙂 I’m not much of a hockey fan myself, but I’ve seen that quote many times and I just love it!

Thank you for the interesting interview! I have a question. Do you prefer to write story driven or character driven stories? How much time do you spend story plotting Vs character drawing?

Hi, Susana! I love character driven stories. I love to explore different personalities, and how they might fit together to find their HEA despite their differences. When I write, I start with a basic story idea and flesh out the characters as I go. I mean, I have the physical features in mind, but who they are, what makes them tick, is revealed to me slowly as the story progresses. I’m a total “pantser” and this approach, I think, is why it takes me so long to write a book 🙂 Thanks so much for asking!

I love your motivational phrase and your favorite quote. If you read your reviews you would find out how much your books touch the lives of your readers. I’m happy you’re able to create without flattery from outside yourself, but you’ve certainly earned it!

Thanks, Jen! I love to read and write stories about imperfect people who are just trying their best. It’s something we can all relate to, that’s for sure 🙂

Thank you for the great interview. i like the fact that you don’t read reviews, that you write the best you can write. You are right that reading is subjective and some will love your stories and some won’t. I have a question…. how did you learn the whole publishing thing. It seems so daunting.

Hi, Heath! Publishing is VERY daunting. It’s been a learn-as-I-go thing, that’s for sure, and I still feel out of my depth at times. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to bring myself to self-publish for that reason. I’m definitely not thick-skinned enough for that 🙂
