Hello! It’s me, C.S. Poe, back for another monthly column here at Love Bytes. I know I owe you all Part 5 of my freebie, choose your own adventure story, The Murder Collection, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish it. My old man kitty was quite sick the past month, and yesterday I had to say goodbye to him. Those moments are never easy— hugs and kisses for everyone who’s had to do the same.

Snow & Winter Book 3: Yes, it is happening. I’m writing it now, and Sebastian is being… well, you know… himself. I don’t have a firm ETA, since it’s rather dependent upon me keeping to a schedule, but I predict summer, 2018.

Color of You: I just recently contracted this story with Dreamspinner Press! It’s a holiday, contemporary romance about Bowen Merlin, a new high school band director in small-town, New Hampshire, and the local apple orchard farmer, Felix Hansen. I loved writing this one. It’s very sweet, humorous, a little angsty, and has a lot of feel-goodness mixed in with holiday cheer. It’ll be out this December!

Southernmost Murder: My next mystery! This is a standalone novel, although it features a super minor character from Snow & Winter Book 2, if you wanted to get a glimpse of him early. Aubrey Grant is a historian in Key West, Jun Tanaka is a hotshot FBI agent, and they can’t enjoy a relaxing vacation together because of… you guessed it, murder! ETA is January, 2018.

The Mystery of the Curiosities (Snow & Winter Book 2) audiobook: This is being proofed with the publisher now, and I predict will go live with Audible sometime this August. It’s been narrated by Derrick McClain, who also did Book 1 and hit it out of the ballpark!

The Mystery of Nevermore and The Mystery of the Curiosities (Snow & Winter Book 1 and 2) in French: They’ve been sub-licensed to Reines-Beaux, who will handle the process and distribution. No ETA yet, but I hope soon because I am so excited to read Sebastian’s snark in French!

She is a reluctant mover and has called many places home in her lifetime. C.S. has lived in New York City, Key West, and Ibaraki, Japan, to name a few. She misses the cleanliness, convenience, and limited edition gachapon of Japan, but she was never very good at riding bikes to get around.
She has an affinity for all things cute and colorful, and a major weakness for toys. C.S. is an avid fan of coffee, reading, and cats. She’s rescued three cats, including one found in a drain pipe in Japan who flew back to the States with her. Zak, Milo, and Kasper do their best on a daily basis to sidetrack her from work.
