*sigh* It’s so easy to be nasty to people behind a computer. But also now it seems it’s also fashionable to be ugly to people in person as well. Apparently manners are a thing of the past.

Josh McDermott, who plays Eugene on The Walking Dead, had to leave social media because the was getting death threats. Not for anything he did, but for what his character did. There’s no explanation for something like this, and when so-called fans react in this manner, we all pay for it. It’s just stupid. 🙁

Kindness has taken a back stage on so many levels. That’s why I don’t participate in Facebook in any format. If those close to me want me to know something a phone call will suffice just fine or a message and an attached photo to my email address. I’m just more private than many are, I guess.

Well said. I know a lot of this behavior was around before, but I blame social media for much of it. People hide behind their computers, phones etc. I also see that manners are no longer taught or extended. Being selfish is becoming more the norm.

OMG! If I got to see Ben Platt in Dear Evan Hansen, I would STFU about anything. Really a dream come true. Some days people are just really hard to take.
