    Thank you for the history lesson. It wasn’t that long ago and yes, I do think losing something you have, is scarier than never having had it.

      It is harder to lose something than to never have had it. Worse we’ve built a family around the rights we gained. Not to say we’ll lose our family, but it will make things harder. I won’t say there is a silver lining to this, but I do think this will make us lose our sense of security and complacency and we’ll be more vigilant and active. In the past those traits served us well. Maybe they will in the future. 🙂
