Meet the Beteferoce brothers. Five dragon shifters, each with a strong elemental power. And each with a fierce desire to find his soul mate…
Deke has yet to meet a man who gives him a rush. Coast Guard rescue has kept the dragon shifter busy, but there’s no harder work than finding a mate. Then comes Bryan. Bearded and inked, the personal trainer turned mechanic smells of grease, sweat and red meat. How irresistibly human can you get? And when it comes to hot, slamming sex, they’re the perfect fit. Now all Deke has to do is to tell Bryan what he really is, and what he has planned for them.
Bryan has never met anyone like Deke, a consuming lover with a body so arousing it damn near hurts. And he knows how to use every inch of it. Yet he can’t shake the feeling that Deke is hiding something. Just not this – the stud he’s falling for is a centuries-old dragon who has marked him as a mate.
Bryan has to admit that something inside him is changing. For the first time ever, he’s satisfied, body and soul. If Deke really is telling the truth, this could be his destiny – if he’s ready to face it.
I recommend that you read Branded by Flames, the first book in the Dragon Soul series as it truly does set the flow of Seduced by the Tide. I enjoyed reading Seduced by the Tide as I’m a huge fan of anything to do with dragons! If there is a negative for me about this book it would have to be the “surfer” tone to the way Bryan talks but that could quite possibly be down to my age!!
Deke is the baby of the five Beteferoce brothers and not expecting to be the second brother to find his soul mate. Deke is visiting his brother Jake and Shae his soul mate, when he meets Shae’s neighbor/best friend Bryan. Bryan and Shae had a thing years ago but nothing ever came of it, they decided they made better friends than lovers.
Bryan was a personal trainer, now he’s a mechanic and a lot happier for it. Both Deke and Bryan have seen each other but never met, when they do meet on this visit they can’t keep their hands and various other body parts off each other. When Deke see’s Bryan’s tattoo he begins to think that Bryan could possibly be his soul mate but makes the decision not to start the bonding process as he must return to his job as a Coast Guard. The one thing soul mates can’t handle is being apart from each other once the process has begun. Deke’s element is water and as such he’s most at home in the ocean. When Deke tries to explain to Bryan that he is a dragon, Bryan doesn’t acknowledge it, in fact he thinks he’s dead!
The story gets going after Deke reveal to Bryan that he is a dragon and then immediately has to return to work! This is when we find out why Bryan has effectively shut down after Deke’s revelation and why he is so reserved and one minded about a lot of issues. I can’t wait for the third installment in the Dragon Soul series to find out what else is in store for the brothers.
