My life plan is to be brutally honest all the way to the bank. Don’t believe me? I run a popular YouTube channel called TrashyZane, and my claim to fame is oversharing about every aspect of my personal life. Sometimes while tipsy. Not everyone loves my style, but I have a long history of icing out people who can’t handle me. I have no time for judgmental foolishness.
Except, apparently, when it comes to Beau Starr. His channel is the polar opposite of mine, and so is he. Wholesome, inspirational, and clean-cut. Everything about him should turn me off, but when we hook up following a confrontation at a convention, my world flips upside down. Not only does Beau Starr turn me on, he uses the exact combination of dirty talk and roughness needed to turn me out.
But we still hate each other. I think.
Mature Content delivers all the promises you can imagine reading this title and so much more. This is definitely the steamiest, hottest, most sensual book I have read in recent memory and for those amazing scenes this book is definitely going to my sexy-reread folder.
I am a huge fan of the Cyberlove series and devoured all the previous stories in one sitting and this one was no exception. I just couldn’t stop reading. I had been waiting to see where the writers were going with Zane and Beau since their scene together in book three, where we got a glimpse of the tension between them. Although the plot-line happens parallel with Hard Wired and we meet characters from the previous book, this story can definitely be read and loved as a standalone. If you are already a fan of the Cyberlove series this will definitely add a notch for your devotion.
It has everything that makes this writer duo so unforgettable. It has a gripping style, unique and absolutely lovable characters, thought-provoking topics, raw emotions and out of this world hot sex scenes. Zane and Beau share the most sizzling chemistry I have ever read. They are truly explosive together and the way they find their way to each other’s hearts is wonderfully written.
My only problem in this book was the lingering conflict. I hated it from the first moment we learned about it at the beginning of the story, and it stayed in the air and the back of my mind until it exploded into one of the biggest, most dramatic scenes I have read for a long time. I hate angst so that was the only negative thing that happened in this book for me but I am also aware that a good story needs this kind of tension and excitement so I just went with the flow and accepted it. The topics this story highlight are truly relevant in our world. I live with two teenagers who follow vloggers and YouTubers and I am fascinated with this world and was having an amazing time reading about them. Being, accepting and staying true to yourself are not easy. Finding a partner who accepts you the way you are is even more difficult. I loved how the authors were dealing with these issues and how they so easily incorporated some serious elements with lighter ones. Everything is perfectly woven together and this is definitely a must read in my book. Highly recommended.
