    I love series and i do love series that continues with the same couple so that we can follow their lives during a longer period in time. I also love series that have a different couple with every book but i love it when there is a theme like the same village/city they live in, group of friends, workplace etc.

    My favorite serie of all time is The Red Dirt Heart serie by Nr Walker 🙂

    Oops! Forgot to say why I like them… I love how relationships begin, the people the main characters are drawn to, and how their love strengthens over time. I enjoy series in which extended family members are included and when friends and family expands to include new love interests. I especially enjoy them where a couple has been separated by time and circumstances and find each other again.

    Oh, a series I really like that I forgot in my list from above…
    Lucy Lennox’s – Made Marian

    I really liked ‘The Lightning Tales’ series by KC Wells, but I haven’t read the other series mentioned in your post so I’m adding them to my towering TBR stack!

    So many series! I do like both a series with a constant set of characters – Tyack and Frayne by Harper Fox, Widdershins Whyborne and Griffin by Jordan L Hawk – but also enjoy linked series so long as there are references made back to previous characters.

    Well I do like series but I worry about the time frame of when the next book in a series will be released. If it takes too long I’ll have to reread the whole series and that’s something I don’t like doing unless I’m in love with the book. Usually I like sticking to standalones and waiting for the series to complete. It’s even better when books in a series can be read as a standalone. I have a lot of favorites so I’ll try to keep my recommended list short:

    THIRD series by Charlie Cochet
    Home series by Cardeno C
    Change of Heart series by Mary Calmes
    A Matter of Time by Mary Calmes
    Warden Series by Mary Calmes
    Psycop series by Jordan Castillo Price
    All for the Game trilogy by Nora Sakavic
    Granby Knitting series by Amy Lane
    All’s Fair by Josh Lanyon
    Holmes & Moriarity by Josh Lanyon

    I like seeing the universe get developed, and lovable side characters getting their own stories! I particularly love Eden Winters’ Diversion series, Tara Lain’s Aloysius Tales, Leta Blake and Alice Griffiths’ Will and Patrick Wake Up Married, and there’ll probably be a few others once I finish subsequent volumes…

    I love series that follow one couple. Not that I don’t like the other kind but ones that develop a relationship over several books are my catnip. I think there’s so much to be learned after the I-love-yous and finally being a couple. Seeing how the couple keeps growing together and overcoming is just a wonderful journey when written well. My favorite is Lou Sylvre’s Vasquez and James books. The way they find each other and become a couple is just one step on a marvelous journey. KJ Charles, Harper Fox, and Santino Hassell are some other authors who I count as favorites for series couples. I may be cheating a bit with SH because I don’t know if two books on the same couple counts as a series, but Sunset Park and Interborough are a beautiful duology that have that same magic.

Some of my favorites are Whyborne and Griffin by Jordan L Hawk, Society of Gentlemen by KJ Charles, Love Lessons by Heidi Cullinan, Sinners series by Rhys Ford, Scoring Chances by Avon Gale.

    I love series. Each book with their own couple and love story, but with interconnection to the other couples. I love reading about how they are doing after they found their love. How they live together, do they hace children. That sort of thing. You get to know the guys better.
    Some great series I have read:
    Sloane Kennedy – Protectors
    Sloan Johnson – Homeruns
    Avon Gale – Scoring Chances
    Lucy Lennox – Made Marian
    Alexa Land – First and Forever
    KC Wells – Cuffs and Collars, Personal
    Felice Stevens – The Memories, The Breakfast Club

    I love series. It depends on the background story, whether I like the series following one couple or different ones.
    For instance, #gaymers (Annabeth Albers), Sinners (Rhys Ford) or Love in Laguna (Tara Lain) work great for me with different pairings and established characters showing up here and there.
    But series like The Sixth Sense (Sarah Madison), Duncan Andrews Thillers (Stephen Osborne), PsyCop (Jordan Castillo Price), My Boss Is A Grumpy Werewolf (Jane Wallace-Knight), Cut & Run (Abigail Roux), Marshals (Mary Calmes), Diversion (Eden Winters), Romano & Albright (L.B. Gregg) or Spy vs. Spook (Tinnean) with one main couple work even better for me.
    Looking at these, I think I’m fine with contemporary romance as stand-alone within a series. But if it’s mystery, crime or suspense I prefer established couples.

    I love series as well. I especially like when the couple is followed through more than just the beginning of the relationship. Cracks begin to form and the relationship is tested. It takes real depth of character and love to make it through. Having said that, I also like series where each book focuses on a new couple but we get to see a bit of what the previous couple is up to.

    Favorite series are:
    Change of Heart by Mary Calmes (same couple for most books)
    A Matter of Time by Mary Calmes (same couple for most books)
    Home by Cardeno C (different couples)
    Mates by Cardeno C (different couples)
    Family by Cardeno C (different couples)
    A Charm of Magpies by KJ Charles (same couple for most books)
    At First Sight by TJ Klune (different couples)
    Scoring Chances by Avon Gale (different couples)
    Love Lessons by Heidi Cullinan (different couples)
    Minnesota Christmas by Heidi Cullinan (different couples)

    I’m sure I’m missing something, but these are the first that came to mind. 🙂

    Great question, b/c I got some good ideas from others. Series vs. standalones is like apples and oranges, I like both. Series can show the same couple continuing through different situations, growth and depth in their characters and relationship, and more characters in the stories. But I do prefer a conclusive end of the story arc for each book without too much cliffhanger. My rec’s depend on what genre a person likes. Many have already been mentioned, here are some others:
    – Fantasy – Nightrunner;
    – Supernatural – PsyCop;
    – SciFi – Interscission Project, Hellgate;
    – Mystery – Dave Brandstetter, Benjamin Justice;
    – Historical – Savage Land;
    – Nautical\Pirates – Pirates of the Narrow Seas, Raised by Wolves
    – Western – Dakota series;
    – Fun classic – Tales of the CIty;

    I do read series, I love them all, whether the characters change or not. I have this problem, that I rarely read them in order so… One of my favourite genres is historical, the other is paranormal, so one of my favourite series is Whyborne and Griffin by Jordan L. Hawk. Also, A Charm of Magpies by KJ Charles

    I LOVE series!! I enjoy both a “same couple” and “different couple” kind of series. In the same couple series I do prefer relationship growth… BUT if theu are already together by book 1 or 2 I don’t want drama happening to them that breaks them apart. So for same couple series I either prefer a shorter series like trilogy or if it’s long, I prefer them to be mystery or fantasy series so the couple can focus on something else. Does that make sense??

    Favorite “same couple” series of all time:
    Adrien English (Josh Lanyon)
    Magpie Lords (KJ Charles)
    Enlightenment (Joanna Chambers)
    Infected (Andrea Speed)

    I enjoy both series and standalones. Never-ending series are not my cup of tea though. We can appreciate the character developement throughout the series and I like that.
    Most of my favorite series are mentioned in the previous comments, another one is The Beacon Hill Sorcerer series by SH Himes.
