Thank you for the question and the answers. I lot of good tips you gave. I have an account for Goodreads, but haven’t used it much for organizing my books. I should give it a go now.

Thank you for your answers. I use Goodreads so i know wich books i already own and i have different shelves so when i’m in the mood to re-read a cowboy romance i just have to check that shelve. On my ereader i have a read and a already read collection. But i have to organise and delete some already read books because i have to many books on it (but it is hard for me to delete books)

Thanks for the answers. I’m not organized at all, lol. I should try google drive for my books. My GR account is a little better though.

I have an account on Goodreads that I should use more, am getting into it after joining the reading challenge but to organise all my books there would take a lot of time.
I have folders on my Kindle for different categories and that works pretty well.

I…kinda…don’t. I just basically use document search functions on my computer and e-reader to make sure I’m not buying a book twice!

Thanks for the answers. Well I have Goodreads to do the database for me, so I know about the title and the series. But I also use series number when I name the ebook files on my harddrive

Thanks for your diverse answers. While I find it easy to sort my hard copies, I have trouble with my ebooks. I have a goodreads account, which I frequent regularly. But I have adjusted my folders at least 3-4 times in the last year and I’m still not happy *sigh*

Thanks for the different answers. I’m pretty organized (using Goodreads as well as Calibre, and folders), but there were also some ideas in there I have to try.

Great questions and answers…. As for me, I go with Pizzygirl… A bit of a chaotic reader here 😉

I use my Goodreads account mostly. I have a notebook I keep by the computer to update series, favorite authors, release dates and (unfortunately) the names of authors I’ve had a bad experience with. Unless several reviewers recommend them in the future, I steer away from their books. Someday, when I have nothing to read, I’ll put them all on a spreadsheet, like I used to, when I only read 1 book at a time and I don’t read ARC’s, books from instafreebie, and Kindle Unlimited selections! Right now reading is more fun than record keeping.

Good question and answer. I also use goodreads and as extra insurance booklikes. As to keep track of books I’ve bought I usually just use the search function or make a folder for the authors

I wish I was organized, but alas, I’ve often started a book and discovered I’ve already read it. Oh well, I just keep reading sometimes if I’m really into it!

I rely on Goodreads heavily to keep organized since I’m terrible at impulse buying. I have a separate shelf for books bought & a wishlist. Once I’ve read something I have a bunch of different shelves for categorizing different topics about the book; like genre, character jobs, kinks, tropes, etc.

I use Goodreads but very basically for organisation, a bit of organisation on shelves in my ereader (though when I have to replace, it is a pain to recreate!) and I keep copies on my PC/SD back up.
Any reviews I do are on Goodreads, occaisonally copied over to Amazon – and I will look at these before looking at another book by an author

Wow! Thank you so much for both the prize and the answers! I am a regular reviewer for another site and often find myself using the index there to figure out which books came in which order (and whether I reviewed them, lol) but I need to get things better organized on my computer and those were great suggestions. I have a book to review about using Excel, so I suspect this will be a great way to apply what I am learning, lol. I haven’t been good about transferring all of my reviews over to Goodreads because of the copyright issues but I probably could just put the links.
