Married for a Month is hands down one of the best books I’ve read for a long time and definitely the most amazing best friends to lovers story I have ever had the pleasure reading. And that says something as this is my absolute favorite trope of all. It feels like the writer just collected everything I love in my mm romances and put it together in a very entertaining, heartwarming and hot novel.

Ok… you want to know what makes this story perfect for me, well… first of all it’s simple. As I get older I enjoy simplicity a lot. No unnecessary complications or miscommunication or conflict. If you are looking for angst and tons of action, this is not a story for you. But if you’re looking for a book about two great guys who has been best friends since childhood, are forced to be fake married and living together for a month on a bet, and you are interested in how their relationship changes during that time, this is the most amazing story you can find. It has the perfect pace, the right amount of action, with some great background story, and some sizzling hot sexy-time. As I read lots of hot books, I often skip sex scenes, but not this time. The chemistry between Alec and Chase is over the top amazing and I enjoyed every single word in each scene.

Another thing I love about our MCs is that they are wholesome characters, with established, full lives, and great friends. They both have respectful careers and these are perfectly woven into the story, making it more lifelike and exciting. Alec and Chase’s self-discovery, their new feelings towards each other are the core elements in this book. Behind the simplicity there’s depth, there’s a well-structured plot, and two strong, lovable men, who get into an unexpected situation that changes their lives forever. I was glued to my Kindle till the last page and enjoyed every minute of it.
