Beautifully put Lane. And yes, we need stories now more than ever. The reality of our world right now is shocking and horrifying to many of us. Just one week after the high of the Women’s March we have this travesty. We have to keep pushing and we can’t be silent. Telling stories where love is love is love is love is important. And it is a safe space for those of us who love these stories after dealing with struggles we see before us now. Thank you for continuing to write your beautiful and inspiring words.

Thank you Sadonna. I appreciate it. These are very difficult times. The fear and uncertainty is horrifying. We have to keep pushing back. Love wins. xoxo

‘I cherish the ground I stand on now because I know it may vanish from under my feet.’

I’ve watched the news all day… not because I like what I hear… but because I refuse to ignore it.

I am struggling to know what I can do, as a fledgling activist, that will make a difference.

I’m with you. I thought the year leading up to the election was hideous, but it was nothing compared to now. Don’t give up. You make a difference. xoxo
