Fans of the THIRDS series rejoice for here is yet another great installment in THIRDS universe! Normally in a collection like this, I’d break down each individual story with an opinion and a rating but I find it isn’t really feasible to do it for this book. What you have here is a collection of twenty short stories, all but one based on prompts submitted to the author from fans of the THIRDS series. (The last story is a bonus only available in this collection.) These stories are varied and cover all sorts of things such as team bonding time, missing and/or extended scenes from the books already published, and just some fun prompts with my favorite characters that made me laugh. Every one of them was entertaining and served as a further reminder as to why I love this series so darn much.
The length of each offering varies and it would be hard to go into any detail about them all without ruining them completely and the majority of my opinions for each one would sound shockingly similar; “I really enjoyed it, it was great getting to see ______, and/or it made me laugh or filled me with feelings.” (The bonus story was unbelievably sweet!) All of the stories were entertaining but the last story…oh man the last story. I was laughing so hard my family was giving me those looks that clearly say ‘I love you but currently think you’re insane.’ As I sit here writing this I am still fighting off a pretty hardcore case of the giggles. 😀
This is certainly a different review for me since I just don’t want to ruin any of the gems found in this book. What I can say with absolute certainty is that this is an excellent companion piece to the THIRDS series and if you liked any of the books, you’ll like this one. Also, its only $.99. SERIOUSLY. And all the proceeds go to charity so really, you’re getting an awesome book full of bonus stories with all the boys I love and you’re helping out a great charity in the process. Just like the first volume, this is a really great companion piece with enjoyable stories that will completely enrich the THIRDS universe and the boys found within it and I highly recommend it to fans of the series.
