LOL! My car has twenty two years, it’s really simple, no fancy buttons, no on-board computer, or GPS… Whenever I have to drive one of my friends’ new cars, I make sure to touch ONLY the steereing wheel and the gear… It terrifies me to touch any other thing and have the car doing something unexpected.
Congratulations on the release. It sounds really good!

Cars? That conveyant that transfer you from one place to another? Aren’t they all the same?? Lol. I’ve no clue about cars. At. All. I don’t even drive! Heh heh
I’m intrigued with the blurb of this book though. Looking forward to read this! 🙂

Hi Didi, I wish I could say the same. I have to spend an hour and a half every day in my car. Good time for plotting out what to write when I get home though. Thanks.

No clue about cars, I don’t even drive one. Technology as a whole kind of all gets me. It takes me quite a long time to get use to new technology. Like when touch screens became popular at first I could swipe correctly. It just didn’t like my fingers ¬_¬

Hi H.B. My fingers are like that, too. I am so slow at texting, it’s pathetic. And I would happily never drive if I had a choice. But the joys of living in the country mean that I have to commute. People where I live would be lost without their cars.

I used to be up on things, but technology changes so fast. The new operating system for computers is really driving me insane.

Hi Jen. Oh, don’t even get me started on that new operating system. My school district switched over during the summer, and it takes me half an hour to figure out how to check my school email now. Forget doing any real work on the thing.

Last year I bought my first ever brand, new car. I really liked the looks of it, first. I am in my 70,s so it was a big deal for me (a “Grand Touring” model with all of the bells and whistles). it is now a year later and I am still finding out all that it can do, and I did identify with the feeling of driving your computer down the road! But I love it, now that I have sorta figured it out. Looking forward to reading your book…you are a new author for me although I love the genre.

Hi Marilyn, Thanks so much. I hope you enjoy it. Getting a new readers is so exciting. As for cars, I’m glad you’re enjoying for your new one. There is something so cool about being the first owner. It took me about that long to get used to the bells and whistles on mine, and I still freak out when my phone calls come through the speakers. I have yet to answer one. I just call back when I get home.

GPS is what really drives me crazy. The little voice is always telling you where to go & sometimes there’s nowhere to turn. It’s so confusing!

Hi Lisa. Oh, the little voice is so frustrating sometimes. There is a road through a mountain notch near where I live, and ever year several tractor trailers get stuck in it. Despite half a dozen signs that clearly state the road is not passable for vehicles over a certain length, drivers follow the little voice. Then they get jammed up in a bend and the notch has to be closed for half a day while a towing company extricates them. Ah, technology.

I work for a mechanic and have to write up jobcards on all sorts of vehicles…sooooo many of them trick me up! Just trying to find where the speedo reading on some cars is a major challenge lol

Hi Lee, I am impressed. I know nothing about the mysteries under the hood. I was baffled by my husband’s car the other day just trying to see where it told me whether I was in drive or reverse.

Hi Jodi, I hear you. My husband and I have owned a few that made me feel lucky to get anywhere at all. One died on an interstate exit ramp once. I was so mad at the old thing that I got out and oushed it up the ramp until we got to a wide enoigh placd to pull off.

I don’t have a car. In Jakarta, I use public transportation all the time. But I figure if I buy my own car, I will also probably be flabbergasted with the new technology cars have nowadays!

Hi Ami, Wow. Sorry — I’m blown away that someone in Jakarta is interested in my writing. I grew up before the internet existed, and I still can’t get my head around how global the world is now. When I was a kid, I would never have believed I would be someday sitting in our camp on the lake communicating instantly with someone on the other side of the world. (On the other hand, I would never have believed that I’d be a published author, either.) Life is good. Thanks for your comment!
