    As a non-native English reader, I must recognise I have to use Urban Dictionary and others of the same kind a lot to try to find out the meaning of some expressions… I’m really glad when some other character in the story clarifies an “obscure” sentence for me. Thank you, Eden

    Great post. I often like reading stories that are “local” and use some slang, but I do see how that could be difficult for people who aren’t native speakers and how turns of phrase wouldn’t necessarily translate over.

    My husband is vegan, but I’m a meat guy, and yes, there are actually some good vegan dishes. Thx for your giveaway offer – I love the combo of mm romance and mystery, and I’d love to get into the Diversion series.
