I love this post! Wolves are my favorite shifters but dragons may overtake them soon. So good to hear we’ll be getting another Hidden wolves book from you soon. It’s been too long. Also, anytime you feel like writing a vamp series, I’d love to read it.

<3 I love the dragons too. I once wrote a vampire flash fic. So you never know… Thanks for the kind words.

I’m like you in that when I wrote my first shifter story, I was reluctant to read too much in the genre for fear of being derivative. I tried to create a world where the rules made sense to me, which meant I departed significantly from genre tropes. I’m going to have to check this series out–I wasn’t aware you’d written any shifter stories. 🙂

I got your Crying for the Moon maybe a year ago. It’s still in my pile of shifter stories I’m finally starting to read. I look forward to it, especially when you say it’s not standard tropes 🙂

Unsafe Exposure? I’ve been looking forward to this next book in your series. I have to say that the details of shifting do get to me, and yes, muddy shifts to muddy in my mind but, then again, if the shifter has more control of their shift maybe they can reconfigure a few things too. Hmm.
