I knew today’s post was going to be a bit on the late side (my apologies). I’d been thinking all week about what I wanted to write about, and then the news of the shooting in Orlando broke and everything I’d come up with is insignificant in comparison.
So instead of writing about book releases or writing rituals or my kid’s birthday, I want to take a moment to reflect on the loss of 50 beautiful lives as well as those whose lives have been irreparably damaged by the action of one evil man.

My heart aches for those grieving tonight.
For those who have lost a loved one there my sincere apology for your loss!!! I am proud to say that I have family and friends that are gays and lesbians, with this tragity I have thought about those family and friends today seeing and hearing more on it! I do know although not in this capacity what it is like for any family member I lost my sister who was shot and killed by my so called brother-in-law then he shot himself! I don’t want sympathy it’s been about 10 years! Guns shouldn’t be for violence or killing! Please just let all the anger or craziness go!
My only hope is this horrible tragedy changes minds and moves people to make changes in our country.
