LENGTH: 90 Pages
RELEASE DATE: February 23, 2016
Nathan Wright has a secret life. During the day he’s a dedicated student, working hard for his maths degree. But times are tough, and in order to make ends meet by night he becomes “Einstein”, wooing punters with his online solo sex show. Still wounded by his last dysfunctional relationship, Nathan’s happy being single. But when his highest tipping client demands it, Einstein has to overcome his social awkwardness to rope in some extra help.
Party boy Rory Jones has never given his geeky neighbour a second glance, but he’s not one to turn down the offer of a free blow job, even when Nathan tells him it’s going online. Once on camera, Rory discovers his exhibitionist streak and the two of them are so hot together, the one-off becomes a regular gig.
But being neighbours with benefits isn’t without its challenges. Nathan’s client keeps wanting more, and he finds himself pushed into a role he’s not prepared for. Meanwhile Rory’s growing affection leaves him worried his ultra-rational lover won’t ever be able to share his emotions. If he and Nathan can’t find something more than great sex in common, they’ll be left with the square root of absolute zero
If I had a dollar for every time I was told a story must have conflict to drive it, I’d be rich. If I had a dollar for every time I called Bullshit, I’d be twice as rich. I enjoy a story full of angst from time to time, but there are times I want to read a feel good story. So thank goodness for books like this.
As the blurb and the opening line of the book lead me to believe, this is a very smutty, often funny, not everything is as it seems, jolly good read.
I really enjoyed the unique plot. For me to enjoy a story, no matter the genre or plot, I have to become invested in the characters. I found myself caring about Rory and Nathan right from the get-go. They were simply adorable!
I am adept with British language so had no issue with that. However, I did struggle with the constant use of the word ‘knob’! Not because I’m new to the word, but like with any word used repeatedly it begins to wear thin. By the end of the story I had a picture of a large handle with a door knob on the end of it every time one of the guys referred to his dick as his knob! I’m sure others will find it hilarious.
Speaking of hilarious, as fore mentioned this story has it in bucket loads. The webcam scenes are sexy and laugh out loud funny at the same time.
If you’re looking for a light, albeit dirty little story, you can’t go wrong with this one.
