Hello all! Thank you for joining me here at Love Bytes for my monthly author column. I’m super excited to be sharing with you the cover to my upcoming Dreamspun Desires book, Forgive and Forget!

When I heard Dreamspinner Press was creating a new line of category gay romances, I was so excited! I love a good trope, and having grown up on Harlequin category romances, I couldn’t wait to write one of my own. I also couldn’t resist signing up for the paperback subscription so I could have them all lined up in numbered order. They’re the smaller paperback size, so they’ll fit nicely on my shelf.

Forgive and Forget is an amnesia story with a shy, somewhat awkward pie shop owner, and the mysterious man with no memory who captures his heart. There’s intrigue, danger, and most importantly, plenty of romance. I had so much fun writing this story. There’s humor, tasty pie making, costumes, and at the heart of the story is two smitten men faced with risking it all for love.

ABOUT THE BOOK

As the owner of Apple’n Pies, Joe Applin leads a quiet, uneventful life, content to spend his days serving customers who come from all over to eat his delicious homemade pies. Along with his motley crew—Bea, Elsie, and Donnie—Joe couldn’t be happier in his little kingdom of baked goods and java.

Experience has taught Joe that love is overrated—and at times dangerous. He has no intention of repeating past mistakes. But then he meets a mysterious, handsome man with amnesia, and Joe can’t deny something sweet is in the works. He isn’t one to take risks, not with his heart and certainly not with his life, but the more time he spends with the man he knows as Tom, the closer he is to losing both.
